Does it contain BDNF in itself or where does the BDNF that is increased come from? I hope it does not work similary to SSRI's Or MAOIS where it doesn't boost your serotonin directly but just uses what you already have by having it be used more often. Which I assume results in lower serotonin in the long term. Another question I have do these drugs increase how much your body absorbs and uses the proteins that convert to dopamine etc? Because now that your brain has or uses higher amounts I would think that would lead to some genes being forcibly increased to convert more proteins into corresponding neurontransmitter to be able to handle the higher unnatural activation due to the drug you use.
