I have a partially used 400 gram bag of powdered Turmeric that expires 6/2024. I stopped taking it because of the taste at some point but now feel like I could re-introduce it to my diet. What's the best way to use it? I'm thinking a tablespoon mixed in a protein shake with a teaspoon of black pepper (for bioavailability of curcuminoids) could cover the taste to some extent. Is tablespoon / day enough to get the benefits of Turmeric? does it have enough curcuminoids?
How do you take your Turmeric? I guess I could use it as a spice in rice dishes etc. too.
