I have noticed that when I use a sunscreen like Sunbum that is not enhanced with Moisturizers it makes my facial skin look dry and Sallow.

Is it because Zinc Oxide and Mineral based sunscreens in general are an astringent that block our sweat glands from naturally moisturizing our skin?

I notice when I use sunscreens that have a balance of sun blocking and moisturizing ingredients, such as Cotz mineral spf 50 with tint, for example, the above effect is much more minimal or not there at all.

Also Burnout SPF30 has a lot of Moisturizer added, so that one doesn't dry out my facial skin as much as say, Sunbum tends to.

I think Zinc oxide Sunscreens are extremely important coupled with moisturizing agents.

I want to try some of the new Korean brands that have chemical based blocking agents because they seem very moisturizing and may even have barrier protectants in them.

Dry skin is a serious problem when it comes to the perception of age.
