21st century as the "age of concrete in the oceans" provides an opportunity for freedom-loving individuals to leave behind the scramble on land and set off into the future in a personal submarine as an ultimate oceanic comfort-habitat... This freedom would allow us to enjoy 'ticket to the world' without getting stuck in any jurisdiction, getting away from oppressive bureaucracies limiting one's rights to live and work according to one's beliefs and hopes, as well as to die or 'deanimate' under conditions of one's own choosing. This is the basic vision that I am exploring in a new essay /report named Project Exodus in the context of seasteading, creating libertarian safe-havens and switching to the 'blue economy'. It can be found here: https://diybiostasis.wordpress.com/ (or the PDF version: https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing )

The beatles beat you to it with "yellow submarine"

But seriously, what about the problems of obtaining fuel, repairs, food etc? Has anyone crossed the atlantic in a sub? Can you just go to any country and dock without permission? I doubt it. How would you work? Dock fees for the sub will be hefty I suspect. It would be cool to go underwater and see all the things but to live under water for a long time in a cramped cabin does not sound good

You would have to be already wealthy to buy and maintain a sub let alone trying to live in it. That takes the idea of RV travel to an extreme level. But if your RV breaks down, you just call the tow truck. If your sub springs a big leak, you might be sunk
