Was diagnosed with T4 rectal cancer and about to begin intensive chemoradiation for treatment.

Does anyone here have any experience and recommendations for supplements that can be helpful or protective against long term toxicities associated with this course of treatment?

For example I've read melatonin can reduce oxidative DNA damage and cell death during radiation treatment.

Thank you in advance.

You might consider researching ketogenic metabolic therapy (KMT) as a complementary therapy. It has the advantage of not interfering with standard therapy.
