I explored how the timing of meals and snacks impacts health. Here’s what I found:

  • Vegetable Dinner: Lowers overall mortality by 31%, CVD by 23%, and cancer by 37%, likely the digestion slowing effect of salads.
  • Smart Snacking: Morning fruit snack reduces cancer risk by 45%. Dairy snacks after dinner reduce overall mortality by 18%.

Was there any breakdown on the type or quality of "dairy snacks"? Many would argue that organic full fat dairy products are much more healthy than the industrial low-fat dreck.

Yes, the study did look at low- vs. full-fat dairy products. Zero difference in all-cause mortality: https://link.springe...-014-0215-1.pdf

Industrial, low-fat dreck, also fine!
