I'm sold on Dr Zelenko's zinc + ionophore therapy, for more than just COVID, as flu is also a single strand RNA virus, and Ralph Baric, the godfather of coronavirus research pointed out back in 2010: Zn2+ Inhibits Coronavirus and Arterivirus RNA Polymerase Activity In Vitro and Zinc Ionophores Block the Replication of These Viruses in Cell Culture

https://pubmed.ncbi....h.gov/21079686/

Tamiflu for influenza requires you get started on the med within 48 hour of symptom onset, and COVID viral replication is supposed to be peaking on day 2 of symptoms.  This tells me having something on hand to take immediately upon realizing you're coming down with something might be a good idea.  I've heard the COVID tests frequently don't accurately show positive on the first symptomatic day, so I'm not waiting...  I'm treating early!

We did a deep dive on the zinc ionophores here: https://www.longecit...inc-ionophores/

And we know Dr Zelenko specified zinc sulfate in his protocol.  Gal220 enlightened us with the fact zinc sulfate is one of only 3 forms of ionic zinc (Only zinc salts are ionic(sulfate, acetate, ascorbate).

A deep dive on different forms of zinc here: https://natureprovid...s-of-ionic-zinc

So why is zinc sulfate so mysterious?  I went shopping, and iherb (huge supplement wholesaler) had ZERO offerings of zinc sulfate.  Went to Life Extension's monstrously large site, and again, ZERO offerings for zinc sulfate.

OK, if it's not on amazon, I give up.  Eureka!  I found it!  BUT...  Dozens of bottles of liquid???  Yes, and a few offers of tablets, which listed the ingredient as "zinc sulfate heptahydrate"...  "a hydrate and a metal sulfate. It contains a zinc sulfate".

I don't like the thought of liquid drops, but if this is a superior delivery system, I can certainly go with this.  Are the tablets of zinc sulfate heptahydrate just as good as the liquids?  Is zinc sulfate really a Holy Grail form of zinc?  Or is this a mistaken theory?

Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated!
