Parkinson's Study Finds Improved Cognition with NR and NAC

The study was published January 6. They used a combination of NR, NAC as the main ingredients along with L- serine and L-carnitine.

 

The results showed no improvement in the motor skills, but real improvement in cognition. Here is the study.

The problem with disease models is that they don't guarantee the effects translate to healthy volunteers. To draw conclusions, you generally need far more studies indicating additional benefits (and additional mechanisms or under different models).

The compounds you mention are mostly longevity agents. It's interesting to see an effect on cognition.
