I'm not surprised that for every 10 bpm increase that there is a 9% increase in ACM. What did surprise me is that this holds true all the way down to a RHR of 45 BPM. I would have guessed that the effect would level off at around a RHR of 60.

My doctor, the blood donation clinic, and a heart testing company I contract with, are all very worried about my health because my heart rate is less than 45...last time it was 38, and that was after drinking some coffee. They won't let me give blood unless my heart rate is above 50, so I have to do some stealth exercise immediately before the donations. Hopefully my low heart rate (likely genetic) will help me age a lot slower.
