The mechanism by which cancer cells can extend their life has been identified following genetic analyses.
Researchers at the German Cancer Research Center have discovered the mechanism by which cancer cells can extend their life span and also multiply continuously, notes Medicalxpress.
Healthy cells have an “expiration date” dictated by telomeres, the regions of DNA at the ends of chromosomes. The integrity of these peripheral portions of chromosomes is affected with each cell division, until they reach a minimum length. Studies conducted over time have revealed that only stem cells have the ability to synthesize telomerase, the “immortality protein,” which can restore telomeres to their original length.
German researchers who studied 2,500 samples from 36 types of cancer have concluded that the ability to extend the length of telomeres is an ability shared by most cancer cells. It should be noted that for normal cells, the shortening of telomeres restricts the cell to 50 cycles of division. This means that, in the case of cancer cells, protecting the length of these regions is the mechanism that allows uncontrolled division.

“In the vast majority of the 2,500 cancer cases studied, we observed increased activity of the telomerase gene, but without changes in the genome that could explain this. Epigenetic factors that do not leave any trace in the genome could be partly responsible here,” explains Lina Sieverling, the lead author of this study.

Another researcher, Dr. Lars Feuerbach, explains that the length of telomeres represents the advantage that cancer cells have over healthy cells, but also to a series of treatments, which specifically target the molecular mechanisms that control the size of the ends of chromosomes in cancer cells may represent an important advantage.

review from cancer patient: The naturopath recommended Telom-R Cito DVR for someone who is 71 years old and suffering from cancer. Before the treatment with Telom-R, the tumor markers were 290. He used 3 bottles of Telom-R Cito of 120 capsules, combined with 2 capsules per day of Tibetan mushroom and of course, cytostatics. The supplements are very good, they increased the effect of the cytostatics. The idea is that after the 3 bottles of Telom-R, I repeated the analyzes. The tumor markers decreased 22 times.

review from cancer patient: My husband after surgery for colon cancer g 2 a, used Telom-R Cito. The last CT shows almost complete remission. This treatment was done in parallel with the treatment of the specialist doctor. will continue to take Telom-R
