good that we find the reason. But have anyone here any idea of dosage of b vitamins and c vitamin needed when taking DLPA and must it be taken at the same time?
narcissistic: I would still do a try, higher dopamine and norepinephrine can be a positive ad to every day life. About cognitation it could add more focus, motivation and energy. But ofcourse one can get to much of dopamine&norepinephrine too. Anxious, iritated and overstimulation could be syptoms of too much dopamine& norephirine.

Maybe a B-complex formula -e.g Jarrow B-right at breakfast and a time-release Vitamin C would do the job?
on a second note would elevated blood pressure be a symptom of too much dopamine as well?

I read somewhere that deprenyl helps with goal oriented behavior. I haven't tried deprenyl yet.
Are you actually considering that? I have herd that its acturly so effective that even drug addicts have interest in it (but maybe it’s a dos thing).

Yes, I would consider taking deprenyl when I feel I have exhausted the nutritional approach. I have had a problem with low motivation, apathy and lethargy, so deprenyl might be something I can benefit from. But I am not ready to try it yet because I am still using the nutritional supplements and want to see how much of an improvement the nutritional approach will bring about for me.
This site mentions how how NE helps with energy and drive.

The neurotransmitter Norepinephrine, when released in the brain, causes feelings of arousal, energy, and drive. On the other hand, a short supply of it will cause feelings of a lack of ambition, drive, and or energy.

I got my DLPA yesterday and I have got good resultats with it. Get more energy, afternoon drowsiness isn't a problem anymore, talk more and I'm also more social. Motivation is better and I'm not so lazy as usually.
Today I took about 500mg with 250mg c vitamin and a b vitamin complex some hours earlier, really got a euphoria kick after a halfhour, soon I found myself jumping and dancing around the room to music. Excercise really enchanses the effect, won't take long before i become exercise addicted on this
The endoprhin effect seems to work.
But I need some days to see if it isn't placebo but I doubt it would only be placebo.
