Woah. Kinda creepy, and yet strangely fascinating.

I know his work doesn't exactly radiate techno-utopianism but I still think it counts. Particularly appealing is Giger's fetishistic visions of flesh and (still, quite organic) machines. Lovely stuff... :)

Am I the only one who finds it a bit curious that this particular thread has had over 15,000 views--and only ten actual posts (so far)?

This last one is Hercules fighting the grim reaper. Its an old painting. Its the only good one of somebody fighting the grim reaper I could find and its pretty good so by default its become one of my favorite paintings. Im trying to get people to paint renditions of people fighting the grim reaper and the picture depicting them getting the best of him, but no luck so far. When I get more money Im sure Ill be able to get somebody to do it. In the mean time, can any of you do it? Or do any of you see the value in pictures like that for the cause? Please do one or commission somebody to do one or some if you can.

They aren't paintings but death takes a pretty good beating in these clips.

I saw that old lady one before, their both hilarious. Some videos like this for life extension, imminst, mfoundation or whatever would be great publicity wouldnt it? It would probably get a lot of hits in you tube and when people spread them and embed them Im sure we could get a lot lot more people looking at them.

Heres an awsome one that Jedimasterlucia has done.

Hopefully this will help inspire more to get done. There are a few other people working on some similar drawings. Stay tuned for that.

There is a project for it being outlined, with a sign up for anybody interested in being on a team for it on line 18 of this life extension projects google doc. Projects that become official are moved to the imminst wiki. Formula for starting projects and joining teams here.

Could these drawings kick much more ass? Damn these drawings are awsome. I think they are going to prove to be a really useful tool and I hope to get an imminst stamp put on them to help in finding this place through places like google and wherever else these drawings may pop up. Like, Im thinking about getting some posters made of some of these drawings, with an imminst logo in the corner, and Jedimasterlucia has more in the pipeline too. What do you guys think about a possible proposal to pay her through imminst to do this part time? I think she may do it for free but its worth considering pay if we can get her to put out more than she otherwise would have. Im thinking maybe a comic strip in a monthly imminst ezine or something like that. By the way, unless you guys want to get an imminst ezine worked out through a different channel, then add to the project outline for it on line 21. The art team is on line 18. There is a simple formula for getting in on and starting projects in this imminst topic.

Wow, Im really digging this picture. I think we should put a caption like, "Lived life? You aint seen nothing yet," and then slap an imminst logo and web address on it and use it as a flyer.

Jedimasterlucia, if you see this, can you try to do another version of this? Then we could use it for firmly official type things.
