Lol, it's allways funny to see people who try to convince THEMSELVES of some thing, by camouflaging it with convincing another person (like - I wan't you to prove me wrong). On the other hand - so much projection of oneself beliefs and pretty stupid judgement, based on ones subjective "values".

I think that he means that some people who try to convince of people that X is Y are argumentative mainly because they need to convince themselves all the time of that thing too.

Example:

Bob is a chain smoker. Bob spends a little time in Google and finds lots of data to prove that smoking has substantial health risks and some data that shows that smoking has benefits too. Bob has tried quitting smoking but failed, and so his subconscious self likes the information of benefits more pleasing than the data showing substantial health risks, leading Bob to spread the gospel of smoking's benefits, which further helps in burning the information on health benefits of smoking to his brains. Like Robert A. Heinlein has said, "Man is not a rational animal, he is a rationalizing animal".

i have 2 questions for matt and paul, as you both look so young for your age:
1. do you have any cavities? did you ever have?
2. are any of you vegan? vegetarian?

I know this thread is old but oh well. Honestly, strictly my opinion, i think some of the people saying Matt looks 14 are exaggerating. Or its just perspective. I am 35 and going by Matts last posted pic if i saw him on the street i would assume 20-23. I think a major contributing factor to Matt's youth fullness, and dont get me wrong he does look youthful, are his almost toddleresque and feminine facial features (and I don't mean that condescending in any way). I have a friend, 36 now, with very similar features and he also appears much younger than he is (usually guessed around 25 by most people). Largish eyes, smallish nose and rosebud mouth. Although my friend is pretty obese, smokes like a fiend eats industrial boxed meals and is very sedentary.

I get estimated younger all the time as well. At the gym, at the store, or when someone comes at our door and asks "are your parents home?".

Ill be turning 28 1st of september. Pictures can indeed change the way you look a lot, videos can sometimes as well depending on the lighting and quality. My mom and dad look really weird on pictures :P
It also depends on how well you've slept, currently and at the time I made the videos for my new channel I was abit sleep deprived + periods (always more tired then).

Anyway if your interested, this is my youtube channel: https://www.youtube....IQbZCLj5MZXckkw

Im a vegan as well

Oh and the comment about the small facial features also makes sense

I got told the other day that "he still has that baby face doesn't he?"

I recently turned 30 and here is my method:

I use Aleppo Soap, $10 a cake, I've recently turned over to a cheaper method which is using Greek Olive oil soap from Greece:

http://www.ebay.com....984.m1497.l2649

Aside from using that to shower with. I get 10 hours of sleep per day or if possible 12 hours of sleep. Also I never go outside unclothed, ultraviolet is what gives your skin that rough look, otherwise it would be what it looks like underneath your T-Shirt all of the time. (Assuming that you don't sunbathe = death for skin) To counteract the severe lack of sunlight its essential to take 1000 IU of Vitamin D per day minimum.

It helps to be a geek :)

I'm not vegan, yet, but I'm working my way towards that goal of being 100% vegan, I've found that my meat intake is directly responsible for my lack of intelligence throughout the day so instead of saying goodbye to it when I eat meat I'm saying goodbye to the crap.

If I had a choice in the matter I would probably want to be 13 permanently, I was always happiest about discovering the world and things around me when I was 13, the size of my human body was more within the ranges of sanity then, now I am 6 ft 7in tall and I cannot really interact with the world as appropriately as everybody else does, so yes I wish I was 13 again permanently, just without the zits.

Annvdb -- May I ask where you get your Okinawan sweet potatoe seeds for harvesting? I've been looking a long time for these with no luck. I suppose I now have to start looking for the seeds.

I remember this thread. It is the thread that almost was.

It looked like a promising outlet for everyone's young-looking anxieties, competitions, bragging, great examples and so on until the "I Have Yet To See Somebody Look as Young as they Claim" thread came along, then that one took over for this type of discussion.

haha :D Stupid to have competitions over it.  Not taking part in that kind of stuff anyway

btw the sweet potatoes I got, I dont know if they are the same as in Okinawa because there are different kinds of purple potatoes. But I think they are equally as good:) Well... maybe also depending on the soil you grow them in and such. Also the name doesn't really fit them since they dont taste sweet

Nothing's wrong with a good old fashioned bragging match!

And, I've had dem purple potatoes before. They really appeal to the idea that bright vivid color in plants are good for human nourishment. I'm around 1/2 sold on that. Do like straight up sweet potatoes big time - on the occasional times I find myself in a diner, I get an order of sweet potato fries and a diet coke while everyone else indulges. But, then I get home and have a dollop of nut butter that would choke a donkey, so I'm not saying I'm some dainty like that. ;-)
