When I look at myself in the rear view mirror in the car on a sunny day I don't like what I see mainly due to the acne scarring and pore size. I've been thinking lately about getting some laser resurfacing / skin rejuvenation.
This is where they use a laser to selectively take out small holes in certain layers of your skin and stimulate the growth of new Collagen.
There has been some advancement lately and mentioning one name the fraxel laser. I found a dermatology place in Perth that does use Fraxel and I'm considering treatment with it.
Have a look at some of the pics on the page below and scroll down to the before and after pics at the bottom. That is the sort of effect I would like to see in myself.

There are two major types of laser erbium and CO2. I think there is also high-energy nitrogen plasma.
I found a bunch of videos about Fraxel through the Physician resources on the fraxel site:

Lumenis (CO2 I think)

I guess the next level of technological advancement would be facial rejuventation using germline stemcells.
