The first ImmInst conference was at the GA Tech Conference Center. I do think that the Boston area would be good for future events, though.

Laz does have a point about walk-ins. I would love to be on or near a university campus where we can pull in a few dozen students (and professors!). That makes me think of San Fran, though there is a university in Vegas.
only 1 uni in vegas? big on sin and low on education huh?
btw, i know a few community colleges around the area, like Grand Canyon CC, and GCC , and Northern Arizona University

Good good good!It looks like a joint conference in either October or November.
My only suggestion for a location is as near to a college campus as possible! It will be much easier to rally the support of younger people (since us youngins are all naive and stuff...)
I'm not entirely sure I will be able to attend a conference this year (especially in Oct/Nov), but next year I would like to see a summer conference, I have a feeling the out turn of members would be much higher during that time since many of us are in school.
I have yet to go to one of these conferences, but I can't wait until I can find the time to goso I can meet some of you all!

If theres nothing concrete then hopefully somebody remembers to try to find an opportunity to get somebody to give them some mic time so they can plug it at UCLA.
Are there posters for the san fransisco conference?

Is that green "C" on the front page here at imminst going to be an official logo for the convergence conference?

I think that is the official logo, but we need confirmation from the Convergence08 team. As soon as we know more, I will let you know.

If not then we should definently get something like that going.
I can start cranking out imminst flyers and business cards if I am able to afford a new printer cartridge for my printer by then. If any body wants to support a good imminst trifold effort then send me a printer cartridge or two and I will crank them out and send them to mind or somebody in the conference area to distribute or set out. Heres a link to the printer cartridge information: http://www.imminst.o...showtopic=23922
If Im able to do this then Ill be updating the imminst trifold wording for review before hand. If anybody else wants to do that in the mean time then please do as soon as you can, it will help get things rolling, the time will close in fast.
I would encourage everybody to keep cranking out pamphlets and posters and stuff when they can. Its a relatively cheap, simple, important, effective thing that every body can do to get the word out.

I want to make them to hand out to people I tell about life extension, and if need be I can make some up to send to the conference.
