There's something about hearing the ringing of truth of a matter in the midst of the dust and smoke stirred up by others, and, true to form, this interview with Aubrey is another breath of fresh air and no exception to the "tell it like it is" state of affairs when it comes to doing something about aging. Ultimately science will prevail over the current diseases of old age and no doubt uncover others which will in turn be dealt with in similar fashion. This is the way of it as it has been since we sharpened our first stick or earlier. That people hestantly tip-toe around the issue of declaring all out war on aging reminds me of a bunch of fearful chimpanzees poking at the carcass of a lion, afraid to believe it is dead lest the repercussions be mortal, but eventually getting up the nerve to jump on it and beat it to a pulp. (That it was already dead indicated the level of frustration they must have felt when it was alive...) Well, to hope or believe that we can effectively combat aging is not a life-or-death situation, although to not believe most certainly is. We know what the result of non-belief is....the status quo of death and suffering for all. That is a sentence I cannot abide given what I currently believe about the chances of doing something about it. I want to wish all of us a happy 1000th + Birthday.. 200 years is definitely NOT enough!

Happy reading!
