How can it be avoided?

Cholinergics, in general, can cause drowsiness and/or daytime somnolence. Ashwagandha has some sedative properties, and GABA-mimetic activity.

Meaning that they should subside?interestingly enough Ashwagandha is marked as an adaptogen. Sedative effects may be short lived.
