I'm trying to choose between AHCC and MGN-3 (which also goes by several other names). AHCC has a longer history of use, more research, and is more widely accepted. In Japan it is a standard adjunctive therapy for cancer and is totally mainstream. MGN-3, according to some research by a single guy (M. Ghoneum), is much more potent than AHCC and its effects on NK activity persist long-term, in contrast to AHCC where NK activity seems to trend back toward baseline over time.
Anyone have any input?
