I have a problem. Every time I go to have a protein shake my shaker hasn't been washed from the last time I had one. For some reason I have a mental block that stops me from washing it after I use it.

My question therefore is: If I make up one large protein shake and store it in my fridge, instead of making up smaller individual ones when needed, will the mixture keep?

This is what I plan on putting in the shake:

Whey protein
BCAAs
Waxy maize starch
Creatine

In addition are there any additives I can add that will add to the fridge life of the above mixture?

whey by itself would keep... BCAA, WMS and creatine especially would not.

just stop being lazy

How dare you. A mental block is a serious mental condition.

I've been working on a new meal replacement drink for work. Is there any reason that LEF chocolate whey, Udo's Choice oil, egg white, and milk would not keep refrigerated for 10 hours? And I would drink oat powder separately.

I'm awarding the "funniest and largest image-based response" award to ajnast4r, this award also reflects his constant commitment of tellin' it how it is in short, blunt sentences.

should be fine... although ide think about using some pasteurized egg whites.

ive been making protein bars to take with me to work, and they are pretty tasty and keep well:

3 scoops protein
2 tbsp psyllium
1 egg
2 tbsp peanut butter

bake 180f for about 20 minutes... makes 3-4 bars. they come out like brownies. you can replaced the psyllium with oats if you want carbs.

Buy extras. Or buy something cheap from any number of bodybuilding websites and they'll send you one with each order.

now if you could just get my girlfriend to appreciate that aspect of my personality!

Come on, you know the answer to that.

I'm pretty sure Mitkat was talking about sentences when he said short and blunt.

Thing is as well, if I buy extras then I will just have a whole lot extras lying around.

I think I've hit on an idea, oh and as a warning this isn't very green so those offended by a gross waste of natural resources should look away. The idea is to buy a big bulk pack of tiny 350ml water bottles from the supermarket. I drink said water bottles then put them aside to dry. Using a funnel I will fill the bottles with the already mentioned mix I want and put the now filled bottle aside. When I want a protein shake all I will need to do is just take a bottle with me and add water. These little bottles can then be disposed of. Pretty wasteful I know.

What's the difference between wasting time filling water bottles and spending two seconds to wash out a shaker bottle? Dude, that's a serious case of the lead ass.

Just let some growth get built up in the old shaker, then. It's good for the immune system.

I'm looking at it now, "growth" barely even pays the deposit. It's really horrific. I think I'm scared.

If you think you might need to complete your basic plan with the help of protein shakes off, then you will get a thorough understanding of how your body uses protein to begin. Proteins are composed of amino acids, which are the basis of cell in the body, hair, nails, muscles and tissues. In fact, your whole body is built from proteins. Water is the only substance in our body contains more protein. Protein provides the fuel needed to repair and rebuild muscles after physical exertion or exercise. You can not build muscle without it. If you can not eat enough protein, exercise simply do not produce the desired results. Note that each time you work, your muscles are torn down and rebuilt. Protein should be available to the body of this process. That's why low-protein diets actually cause muscle loss. Although it is possible to obtain enough protein for muscle growth through a healthy diet is difficult.

You almost have it figured out, but not quite. Just buy the bottled water and when you want a shake, open the bottle and take a swig to make a little room in the bottle and then add the protein powder to the water in your bottle. Put on the cap and shake and you are done. You can also make a disposable funnel by making a paper cone (a square of paper rolled into a cone and secured in the cone shape with a piece of tape). Then you don't even have to wash the funnel. Don't forget to recycle the used bottles and paper ;)

I'm also thinking of something along the same lines but more encompassing for all dishes, glasses, etc... I'm thinking of ditching the cabinets in the kitchen and having 2 dishwashers instead. Simply store the clean dishes in one of the dishwashers. When you use a dish or glass simply transfer the dirty one to the other dishwasher until it is full. Then run the dishwasher with the dirty dishes in it and then it magically trasforms into the clean dish storage cabinet. Then visa versa.... Just think of all the saved time of not having to load the dishwater and unload the dishwasher into the cabinets. Over time it would be the equivalent of adding several days worth of time to my life, a worthy goal for any longevity minded person ;)

After that I'm going to work on the 2 clothes closets that are actually dry cleaning units...
