Thanks a lot people
)
Ive heard of the braingutaxis thing .. And i will start probiotics soon as as possible my last blood results
Will arrive
1)
But would 5htp still help with a leaky gut syndrom
, ibs and so on?? Would it have an positve effect with 50mg while having ibs and not taking
Probiotics
And so on??
...
PS: can emotional dullness come from a mixed up gut??
It might, on both counts. The advantage of addressing the gut first would be that it might kill two birds with one stone ... that is, help with the leaky gut and irritable bowel, and by fixing the gut, help with the mental symptoms too. This could make the issue of supporting neurotransmitters with extra amino acids moot. In contrast, just supporting neurotransmitter production might help the mental aspects but would be unlikely to help with the gut issues. In which case you’d still want to do the diet and probiotics stuff and be using two stones when one might be enough.
If you addressed the gut first and it didn’t work for the mental issues, then at least you’d know you need both stones. :-)
2) would it make sense to take tyrosin and penylalanin at the same time? And if not which one is better to increase dopamin ??
You could, but if you want to support both dopamine and serotonin, my suggestion would be tyrosine and tryptophan. Phenylalanine can be used to make tyrosine (which then can be used to make levodopa and dopamine), but it can also be used to make proteins and phenylethylamine. And whatever is used to make those doesn’t get used to make dopamine. If you’re targeting dopamine, tyrosine is one step in the sequence closer to dopamine, so it is more efficient. The tryptophan, meanwhile, gets used to make serotonin just the same way tyrosine gets used to make dopamine. The analogy between these sequences is striking ... the process for making dopamine from tyrosine closely parallels the process for making serotonin from tryptophan. You could even call levodopa hydroxytyrosine.
3.)
In the morning:
tyrosin 500mg
Plus 2 capsules green tea extract
(1capsule: 250 mg; 137,5 mg EGCG; 249 mg polyphenols; 200 mg Catechins, and less then 4 mg koffeine
In the evening
50 mg 5htp
And also 2 capsules green tea extract
Is this any good ? Or too much green tea ior 2 less??(2 less egcg because they wrote in the internet 10 times higher of 5htp??))
To support both serotonin and dopamine, my amino acid suggestion would be
Morning: Tyrosine 500-1000 mg
Evening: Tryptophan 500-1000 mg.
Then if you still feel you need more, add 50-100 mg hydroxytryptophan (5HTP, griffonia) and 50-100 mg levodopa (macuna) during the day. You could take your green tea with this.
Remember
tryptophan -> hydroxytryptophan -> serotonin
tyrosine -> levodopa -> dopamine
because it associates the amino acids you can take with the neurohumors you’re asking about.
I have personally done this with good results. Because of individual variation though, it goes without saying that your mileage may vary. So start at the low end first. And it also assumes you are not taking drugs (e.g. SSRIs or other prescriptions) which may not mix well with these amino acids. If you have a medical condition or are under a doctor’s care, of course you need to coordinate any supplements that might affect them with your doctor.
Appreciate answers thank you mates!!! <3
Good health to you, ThreeKings!
