In fairness he does have a few slight depressions in his face that are typical of people over the age of 40 or so but I am rather impressed with the smooth overall texture of his skin. He said he has been into 'whole foods' and raw dieting since the 70s? Maybe that has quite a bit to do with it. Maybe he'd look even younger if he used sunblock all those years. Maybe proper dieting is 70% and skincare is the other 30%?
I've read that UV damage is 80% the appearance of aging. It makes you wonder what someone with only AGE related damage would look like at 60 or 70?
What I find impressive about his appearance and age is that during the 60s and 70s, the dangers of sun-exposure was not well known. People, such as my dad, loved the sun and would spend lots of time outdoors unprotected and they all have bad skin as a result. This was probably more common for people who were "hippies" or into "natural living." If this man managed to escape much of that UV damage, as it appears he did, it is impressive.
Regarding Jared Leto and others you have posted, noticed how pale he is? UV avoidance has likely played an important role in maintaining his appearance.
