yeah i use natural lighting. The camera flash hates me, and i hate the camera flash. Seriously! It washes out the colours anyway... Forever21, thanks!! hehe xD

Your skin tone suits a flash better though, I just become a ghost xD jajaja Try without a flash!

by the way, i'm still trying to clear up lots of hyperpigmentation from acne, its a LOT better since vitamin C seurm... but still there, going slowly! I had severe acne as a teenager =/

Well Matt allways looked like that so I have no doubts, and TheFountain - good job sir, you better use it for pulling these HS girls haha!

Interestingly enough, I don't have to pull them as they seem to be pull me despite sensing that I am a little older. I don't think they know my real age but they might sense I am a couple years older, but of course, this is just silly talk. And we all have to be careful, lest we end up like this guy!

I can tell about the calorie restriction, you look built like a power-lifter. I'd say the beard plus the size ages your appearance. If you're trying to look particularly young, being slender and not having much facial hair is probably the best option. At any rate, you look tough, which has plenty of merit in its own right ;)

LOL - I'm not trying to look young per se - actually I wanted to look older. People say I had a baby face (thanks mom - sigh) because that's where I carry extra fat. I think having a chubby face definitely makes you look younger (but people also think you are fatter). Most people assumed I was in my early 30s before the beard.

My friends joked that my body didn't match my head so I figured shaving the head and growing the beard would make me look more in sync. I'm married to an awesome woman who doesn't mind the look. She's used to it now.

About being slender, I have no interest in that - bigger is better for me. I'm cutting fat right now since a 6-pack is always nice. Years of lifting and being around bodybuilding have skewed my ideas of what "normal" men are supposed to look like. Anyone under 215lbs seems small/frail to me since I'm about 285 normally so when I see all these "buff" movie star hunks like Hugh Jackman or Brad Pitt it makes me chuckle. Yes I know that makes no rational sense, but long exposure to a certain aesthetic really does pull you in that direction.

I have not done a lot of sunbathing over my life (I work behind a computer) and I think tanning and smoking are the two biggest causes by far of premature visual aging. I see so many young girls darker than dark all the time and I just think to myself - you will be SO sorry in 25 years.

FYI I was 41 in that pic.

My beautiful girlfriend at 22 and 7 months (most people think she is 17!).

P.S has anyone else noticed how most immortalist/intellectual females on this forum are Doggish looking? I have not really noticed any attractive women sharing their photos on this thread unfortunately so I thought I would share one of my girlfriend. She is only a part-time immortalist though and not a member of this forum. YET! lol! Here's her modeling pic, and then one of she and I together.

Well, Luna is an attractive one (no whiteknighting ;) )

And I like your style. Not that I'd strive for that look as I'm into bodybuilding and stuff, it just would look reallly weird (jacked emo..yeah, right..) but I find cool the main idea/expression of ones personality through it, it's like - you must have some kind of liberating "outlook" to the world to sport something out of ordinary.

Just a little harsh...

Speaking of photos: People need to post clear face pics if they want an honest assessment. All this long swooping hair business makes judging age very difficult ;)

O_o

It's ok, I am not insulted by him. I had him on MSN for a few minutes, that's enough to think every opinion of his is full with anger or something about the world and every person who doesn't share his strangeness.
I won't say anything bad about his girlfriend, who I don't know.

But yeah, if people want to have their age guessed then we need to see a face, TheFountain didn't show any, it was always hidden.

Also, photos of actress with a lot of make up and photoshop such as Lily Cole's photo are just artificial and don't prove anything about someone really looking younger than they really are.

I'm with you on this one - Not a fan of the emo look. Looks very feminine, which is not how I think males should look. Or should I say not how I prefer to look. But hey, I'm an old fogey ;)

I was under the impression Fountain was gay because he kept defending metrosexuals and stating that all men had homosexual urges. Seemed like he was trying to justify his own gayness. Surprised to see he has girlfriend.

I don't think i'd be able to hide it if I looked that bad for my age. Hair or no hair. Shaven heads are not my style, I find them cultish and unoriginal. And the first pic I posted of myself was a pretty damned clear close up, and a bad one too considering it was uploaded directly from a 2 megapixel first generation Iphone. So if anything I look worse in that picture than I do in real life.

Yea I try to added some femininity to my approach because I find that overly masculine guys my age tend to look a little on the older side. I want muscle but not so much that it is going to give me lines and wrinkles by age 30. I really think too much testosterone contributes to at least the appearance of aging. But I am just stating observations.

Oh please, as if that level of insensitivity was never exhibited on this thread before? Seriously. I don't think every female immortalist is unattractive. EVA is pretty for her age EG and there was this other one who was on CR who looked somewhat pretty. Forget her name though.

This shows what a small mind set you have. But as you said, different generations have different tolerance levels.
