Matt, I'm just saying. Maybe not genes, maybe not lifestyle or diet but something else. Something completely different. The luck of having the figure, shape, appearance associated with the younger and therefore we associate, interpret as "young".

You just described genes.

PetiteCerise is not annoying to me. I don't know why everyone is so easily effected by her, but I guess it is a continuation of a basic theme here. That is, being easily influenced by others. I am quite certain that PetiteCerise is a Genius who is basically yanking people about as she likes to.

In any event at least the moderators gave equal warnings to everyone here, not just me. I was informed if flame wars continue the thread would be locked. But I have to comment on the fact that freedom of speech is on the down slope here considering I did not say that a specific individual was ugly.

I might have disagreed with certain individuals regarding the attractiveness of certain females but I never called those specific females ugly. And I did reiterate that several immortalist females are indeed attractive, I simply pointed out the fact that those particular females do not post much on this thread. I think the purpose of this thread has evolved somewhat lately.

It seems now to be about exploring the side of the human psyche we tend to put in hiding. The side that wants to be brutally honest I suppose. But honesty from where? All sources of honesty and truth, are they equally valid? Or are they merely opinions? Do we base truth on statistics or our own little puny dogmas of what we do and do not prefer? *raises eyebrow*

I don't yank people! I am a very genuine and nice girlsie ^-^ I am *always* myselfie! ^-^

Okay you're not yanking. You're gently tugging. However I am entirely open to the possibility that you are autistic, which would be a beautiful thing in and of itself as I believe autistic people are beautiful souls with much talent and creativity. Sometimes I consider myself borderline Aspergers.

P.S has anyone else noticed how most immortalist/intellectual females on this forum are Doggish looking? I have not really noticed any attractive women sharing their photos on this thread unfortunately so I thought I would share one of my girlfriend. She is only a part-time immortalist though and not a member of this forum. YET! lol! Here's her modeling pic, and then one of she and I together.

Personally, I wouldn't have posted that picture and in the same breath called females here doggish. But to each thier own I guess.

Why? My girlfriend is way more attractive than any girl here.

Guys, I really really hope no deathists visit this thread, because then the whole message that we have here goes down the toilet. It seems that people like Fountain not only want to stay immature looking, they just want to stay immature. The "My girlfriend is way more attractive than any girl here" just fuckin killed me.

As for my turn in this guilty pleasure - Jim Jarmush born in 1953, but I wouldn't say he looks like he was approaching 60 if you take away the white hair

I don't know if there is anything special about his diet, but I know he has always been a heavy cigarrette smoker, altough he might also be a vegetarian since I guess he's into bhuddism ( which probably gives him some good stress managment tools, not insignificant in terms of appearance in the long run )

Yep, that Leto guy defintely is some kind of virgin blood bather or something, I guess that it's always the big eyes that give people who have them an overall younger looking face. Also, his case is a prove that even with a fair skin you're not destined to be sun damaged. Damn, that boy brings up the hidden fruitcake in me lol. Awfull band though.

They probably do look prematurely old from being sedentary and having unhealthy dietary practices. The above Leto photo is the perfect characterization of skinny-fat. Poor muscle tone, too much body fat.

Skinny fat example:

This guy is a good example of "health" or "fit"..not bodybuilder or pro-athlete:

come on, that comparison is stupid. Leto is nowhere near as skinny-fat as that guy. Here's a better pic that was taken a couple months ago. He looks nowhere near as bad as the guy in the pic you posted. Be real.

First pic is more like someone from a concentration camp. Not skinny fat.
Many "Pro athletes" have a body like the second pic. Ever heard of baseball?

I'm not saying there's not alot of women still attracted to muscle men but it seems to be losing importance exponentially. Women want lean, somewhat fit bodies, but not threateningly muscular ones. At least the younger ones in my experience.

It's BS, they say that but they don't actually feel that way (this applies to many things women say/do lol) ... I for years had girls telling me I was too big or too beefy back when I was very into bodybuilding, but I certaintly got 'checked out' by girls much more back then, and I remember so well one night we were all out, and some local footy players (Rugby) were at the bar (and these guys are huge!) and all the girls I were with were bloody creaming their pants at how hot they were. Yeh they were dressed well etc, but what stood out was these guys were jacked and in incredible shape, way bigger than I was at the time, and yet these same girls told me frequently 'dont get any bigger!'... Obviously this does not go for all girls, but from my experience most girls associate bodybuilders with, well, most bodybuilders you see in everyday life, and typically these guys are all very soft, quite high body fat, bloated from 500+g of carbs a day and creatine and water and just generally looking not all that aesthetically appealing...

I think if you preserve symmetry and leanness/6-pack then in a 'normal everyday situation' (i.e. not a posed shirtless photo or something) most girls will certainly be attracted to more muscled men...

I'm talking about teenage girls and those in their early 20s. My generation of females seems alot less interested in overly built bodies than women in their 30s and up. I think it is a generational/mental evolution thing. Don't think you know what girls want, that's arrogance. And most sensible females hate arrogance.

Well I tend to agree with TheFountain on the TENDENCIES (even keeping in mind that I'm close to "seriously jacked", and could become really huge if I'd like to) in the mainstream media, and let's be honest - that's what kinda "forms" the opinion to some groups of people, and it may be pretty influential.
BUT on the other hand I noticed that contradiction - they SAY they doesn't want a guy to be "big", though when they have/get one it becomes quite a different deal.. Being big may be just plain intimidating to a woman, esp. if you don't pay attention how to play it down/balance out by dressing/looking certain way, but biology is biology and woman like to feel safe and dominated.
But again I personally have a way to balance out my physique with a style, so it looks like I'm a perfectly approachable guy who just likes to lift weights.. Some of the guys who are big, tries to look intimading all the time because of some insecurities. Well these won't get much acceptance from females no matter what, even if they'd really like him.

Ok, Leto may not look very much like the second guy, but DEFINITELY doesn't look like the "sknny fat type" in the first one. Sure he may not be the best toned guy ever seen but still I would describe him as both fit and healthy looking.

As for the tendencies among women, I read somewhere recently that when a society has better medical care, and is generally going more and more affluent, the big types begin to loose some of their appeal to the chics. In my country I see something that would confirm this, that the girls from poorer, country or small town backgrounds tend to put pressure on the males to get bigger and bigger, while many college girls in the city only seem to have this "hmm, that's....interesting" reaction when you say that you work out, so there may be something to what Fountain says. Of course, the "wallet muscle" is still in everywhere lol

Women are contradictory, deceptive creatures (not all of them, but alot). So it is a moot point to discuss their inherent tendencies here because honestly, I don't think any of us know what those are. I am just privileged to have met some open minded, beautiful and gifted ones who don't play too many games.
