I'm 100% straight but this is my idol. I have a huge man-crush on him. I love him with every fibre of my being.

If you want to come out and say you're gay for Ian Somerhalder, I will not judge you.

Some people are just born with great genetics. He is obviously one of them. I wonder if he, or any of the other celebrities featured in this thread, use sunscreen regularly? I see a lot of 'forever young' celebs sporting a perennial tan. You'd think that would be bad for their skin?

I used to get a lot of sun as a kid, and being very fair, I am worried about the damage I have accumulated. My skin is fairly stretchy and as an act of aging paranoia, since about age 21 I have been crazy with sunscreen usage and sun avoidance. Hopefully that preserves some of my youth.

I have read an interview with Ian S., he attributes his looks and all that to the fact that his mother brought him up as a vegetarian kid, he was referring to being raised on soy milk, along the lines. Whether he still is a vegetarian ( or a vegan), I can't remember though.

that is true. also a huge animal lover. he works on saving stray dogs.

Ok phaggots ( :D ) myspace angle here it comes. 25 in August (like I'd care). Slept for like 5 hours here (in a few days), was doing some grinding/drilling at home, hence the stupid hat:

Though my features aren't "soft" (what tends to make ppl appear younger usualy) and I had a HORRIBLE skin for years till about 20-21 so you can see some scarring and zits appear here and there still..

I know, I know, no more pics, I said, but my laptop has a built in camera, as I have just discovered, and could not resist. And, of course, TheFountain is right in calling out all the dimwitted and humorless sarcastic types who have a penchance for personal attacks: put up or shut up, yallz!

41 years and 4 months in pic:

Please forgive the scraggly dirtbag vibe. My commute to work is from my bed to my desk, so I let it go all the time and only get primped up once or twice a year, like at my friend's recent 40th b-day bash, where I was looked at with awe and wonder! :-D But, that was now over a month ago and the scruff has returned.
Also, I took to heart and saw the truth in comments made when I last posted pics over a year ago, that every pic looked like I was a deer in headlights, so I really tried to change my eyelids a bit, carry a different facial expression, sumthin to change it up.

You know what will happen right?

If you maintain your weight, and then you choose to lose weight when you're older you'll lose fat from your face and neck, and the skin wont bounce back as well as it would now. Maintain a lowish normal weight without much variation and this would be good for looking younger.

Why don't you eat healthy =/ ??????????

and to Paul, you look great for your age!! =O

Thanks, Matt. That does mean much coming from one of the genuinely preserved set here.
Quick question:
What sort of physical exercise/activity do you engage in, cause I HAVE to find some form of satisfying routine, since my physique is really close to seriously lagging (not sagging!).
Brisk walking, yoga, soccer, resistance training, aerobics, calisthenics, something. Your recommendation would be like from a physical trainer/dietician due to the genuine nature of your credentials (better than any degree on a piece of paper).
Warning: I may take whatever you suggest and run with it since I so badly need a starting point, something to grasp onto, just to get rolling. :-D
Not to lay this all on Matt, and anyone else's suggestions would be much appreciated as well.
Thanks and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

17 to 20?! That's old u.u Well, it's much older than I'd like to look anywaysies. Okaysies, well, in Russian, it's very common for anyone to make words diminutive, like instead of "kushats'" which means "to eat", a person would say "kushin'kats'" which is like..."to eatsie". I speak Russian a lot at home and that carries on into English as wellsies, but since many words that I make diminutive usually aren't, it looks kind of weird to some people, heehee ^-^ That's why I put so many "sie" and "ie" suffixes at the end of wordsies, heehee ^-^ I think that I usually look younger in the mirror than I do in *most* photos. For some reason, when I look in the mirror and then I take a picture of myselfie, I look completely differentie *-* Heehee ^-^ Most people who have seen that picture of me guess 13, and they're right! ^-^

Yaysies ^-^

Wrinkles... you should see some of my old high school mates. Most of them have receding hairlines and deep forehead wrinkles and they're the same age as me!

Yes, so we can agree that it's all relative to what kind of sample you're looking at right?

Matt, sure the supplements are working, just not as well as CR.

Well I was just joking around :p, I think supplements do play a bit of a role in helping maintain youthful appearance.

Very true most of the people maintain their look thats becuase they take care , take fresh friuts , lot of water . And I very much agree supplements play a Important role . As after a certain age you skin starts loosing collagen and for that ypu have to take skin supplements rich in vitamins .
