My first two cycles were bought by a real pharmacy, the other two cycles at http://www.drugs-pro.org/.
Due some reports about fake batches of cerebrolysin i am reconsidering buying there again.
The boxes from drugs-pro were a little different but did look original as well.
On the other hand I cant believe that Cerebrolysin is that popular at the moment, so a scam is not profitable at all.
Anyone?

I'm thinking of going to somewhere in Eastern Europe, hoping to find cerebrolysin at a more reasonable price.
Anyone got any ideas on how to proceed with this? I'd prefer going to a country inside of the EU to be on the safe side with customs etc.
You think best thing would be to visit a psychiatrist or could it somewhere perhaps be obtained OTC?
Any kind of input is welcome.

Got my Cerebrolysin today! Here's what it looks like for comparison:

Packaging and all

I have a seal! (whatever that really means)

5x10mL capsules...

One out of packaging

I'm going to follow a youtube video that a guy posted specifically injecting Cerebrolysin into his thigh. You guys are more than welcome to look at it. Here it is

This guy injects 10mL at once and does it pretty safely I would assume since I don't have the medical background. Anyway, I think it's helpful and was really surprised to find it one youtube..

Today is my first dose and I'll reply back in a couple days/weeks depending on what happens

Thanks a bunch for posting pics! I'm sure it will be useful for others to compare which products they have. FWIW, I feel like the packaging of this material is much too complex to be a viable counterfeiting target. I strongly suspect that the news item posted earlier in this thread was just referring to generic Cerebrolysin, which Ebewe/Ever probably considers a knockoff of their product, rather than an actual attempt at passing off generic CRB as an Ebewe product.

That video was made by trevyn, who posted it a few pages back in this thread.

The only other source I know of besides drugs-pro and IAS is rxpharmacy.md, but I haven't heard any reports of people using them.

Probably the demand for cerebrolysin is to low to make a good looking counterfeit.

I will order this time a cycle at IAS, drugs-pro and rxpharmacy and compare the packages

Can this stuff be kept in the refrigerator?

I keep it in a dark dark place in mine.. wondering if this is ok. I thought this would preserve the content inside. I also do this with my Deprenyl and actually all of my supplements are in there.

I do of course let the Cerebro warm up to room temperature before injecting.

Is anyone aware of the dangers of injecting? I understand it's not the most common thing to do but today I got slightly more blood than normal protruding after pulling out. It ceased within 30 seconds or less with some pressure. It seems alright but I would just like to clarify.

So what could possibly go wrong or what should someone look out for when injecting fluids into their muscle?

Is it possible to accidentally inject into a vein? What are the dangers of this?

Is it alright to workout the muscle later on? Say within a couple hours? If I inject into my leg for example, can I go to the gym and do squats and run?

Anyone on this? I would greatly appreciate a response

There are dansgers of infection. I had one, my vein in my arm became swolen and hardened but it all went away with antibiotics. Not sure how i did this because i disinfect everything and use new ones all the time. I work out right after if and did not have any troubles. Not sure about the consequences of injecting IN a vein...

Make sure you rub alcoh before and after the injection. As for swelling, im not sure its the most significative sign of infection. You could infect your lymphatic system and in that case, affect some other parts of the body.

A couple links that might help you:

http://www.howtodoin...m/IM/quads.html

http://www.howtodoin.../IM/glutes.html

These muscles groups are the largest and can (safely) absorb about 3mL of oil & (theoretically) 10mL of water-based solution. That said, unless you are close to 200lbs, I wouldn't recommend doing a 10mL injection in either of these muscle groups--personally I do 5mL in each, every day.

As far as proper protocol, ALWAYS do the following:

- Use an alcohol swab to grasp the ampoule top when you break it open
- Always wipe down the injection site with an alcohol swab prior to, and after injection
- Insert the needle and inject as slowly and stably as possible
- Throw out every syringe after use (NEVER re-use--if you can't afford a box of 100, you shouldn't be giving yourself injections)

With oil-based solutions, you usually aspirate first to ensure that you haven't hit a blood vessel, however because CRB is actually intended for Intra-Venous use, I don't bother. To aspirate, just pull back on the syringe after inserting it into your muscle--if you see air bubbles instead of blood, you haven't hit a vein.

I believe to this date I have hit a blood vessel only once (with roughly 2.5mL CRB), and the only side effect I noticed was something akin to a niacin rush--very short lived. Bottom line, the safety profile of this stuff is pretty great... You're more likely to have an injection-related issue than one caused by the CRB.

Also, for injecting CRB I would recommend using syringes of 21.5 gauge or lower (larger diameter) given that the peptide sequence is rather large

Has anyone ever got past the 5ml IM limit with a possitive outcome? I want to try a higher dose, but the IV is just too complicated. Has anyone tried the oral supplements made by everpharma? (Cebrium, memoprove)
Another thing- And I´m not sure if this is allowed, if its not, I apologize beforehand- If someone hasn´t been able to get cerebrolysin, I offer to send it from Mexico City to your location, as long as it makes costumes. They market it here under the name renacenz- and sell it without prescription since its not what mexican health law considers "controled substance"- it costs arround 90 US dollars.

would the cost of trying to IV cerebrolysin outweigh the benefits? I was wondering since less seems to be required for IV'ing cerebrolysin rather than IM'ing it.

Synaptic, i never tried oral supplements. Whats the quantity for 90$.

Gamerzneed, not sure that this is meant for iv. Didd you read somewhere that this can be iv ?

I am very sorry to not have replied to your question sooner, but I am not familiar with this forum and I just saw your question today.

My Husband has read many studies and comparisons but his experience here in the office is what he relies on most. Based on those experiences it is very clear that IV infusions (5ml Cerebrolysin in 250 ml Hartman sol, 40-50 drops per min) are much more effective than IM injections. A large portion of our patients are North Americans who live in Mexico part time. They recieve the IV infusions while they are in Mexico and Give themselves IM injections when they are in the states.

Here it says IV method is much more effective, I'm just wondering how big of a difference it makes.

Hello everyone!

Here is an abstract of the study conducted on healthy volunteers (as I assume most of us are) that establishes the dose dependant effects of cerebrolysin: Abstract Highlight Terms Posted Image
Gene Ontology(2) Diseases(1) Chemicals(1)
Cerebrolysin, a peptidergic nootropic drug, was to be effective on learning and other cognitive functions in animal experiments as well as in clinical studies. Hyperventilation (HV) as a model of brain ischemia induces slowing of the EEG and cognitive impairment. The aim of this study was to examine the potential dose-dependent effects of Cerebrolysin on HV related EEG changes and short term memory during chronic (10 days) application and the time dependency of these effects. In this single centre, double blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel group study 48 healthy males were enrolled and received either 100 ml placebo (NaCl) or Cerebrolysin (10 ml or 30 ml or 50 ml) in a volume of 100 ml (NaCl) for 10 days. EEG at baseline and during HV as well as the cognitive performance was evaluated at Day 1 (baseline, 15 min p.i., 2 h p.i., 4 h p.i., 8 h p.i., 24 h p.i.), Day 10 (baseline, 15 min p.i., 2 h p.i.,) and at day 11 (24 h. after the last infusion). The main effects found during the study can be summarized as follows: At baseline we found an increase of the EEG power ratio (PR) for the grouptrated with 10 ml Cerebrolysin. The effect was most pronounced at the parietal cortex. The effect started after 15 min, was most expressed at 2 h and was kept until 8 h. During HV we found a relative PR decrease of the group (10 ml Cerebrolysin) at 2 hours. For short term memory, there is a trend towards less effective word recall for the baseline situation during the first 4 hours for the placebo. This effect was not observed in the Cerebrolysin treated groups. If chronic effects are concerned, the PR increased over the parietal regions at 24 h for the groups treated with 10 and 30 ml Cerebrolysin. The effect remains at day 10 and 11. But at 10 and 11 days there was also a trend for a relative increase of the PR in the group treated with 50ml Cerebrolysin. Signs of overdosage occurred with the highest concentrations of Cerebrolysin. The events were only mild and caused no harm to the volunteers. The highest concentration caused a small but significant reduction of blood pressure. The effects could be interpreted as those of an atypical nootropic with anti-ischemic properties.

So, I think it´s very likely to be a whole range of positve effects beyond the 5ml IM limit -and below 50 ml IV. as stated above- recommended by everpharma.

Sunshinefrost: Today Im going to buy a couple of cases of cerebrolysin to start my new cycle, I can tell you the exact cost in a couple of hours. The 90 dollars approximate is the price for a box that contains 5 ampoules with 10ml cerebrolysin each. (Thats the only presentation/packing available in Mexico city that I know of)

Hi guys! The study I read contained info on the dose-dependent effects of cerebrolysin on young healthy volunteers -I assume most of us in this forum fall in that category- Here is the abstract:

Abstract

Sunshine: 90 US dollars is (arround) the price for a case that contains 5 ampoules with 10ml of cerebrolysin each. In fact, that´s the only packing/presentation available in Mexico made by everpharma. The medication is marekted here under the name Renacenz. I´d gladly send some for anyone who can´t get it in their country, however, if confiscation is the custom´s standard procedure for medication shipments from foreign countries, it would be throwing money down the toilet. Toughts?

I´ll write about my impressions on this cycle, I´ve seem to have developed somewhat of a tolerance...-Or maybe it´s a habituation to the feeling and effects the substance produces-.

Cheers,

For what reason do you use it everyday?
Did it build a heavy tolerance (are the effects consistant no matter how long you use it)?
How would you describe the effects of it on cognition over the years?
Is it worth the price? Do you buy it online or get it prescribed?

I'm planning to get some myself to improve my own mental cognition and was wondering on some of these questions if it's worth using it.

Good to Hear Science Guy !

4 days left to end my 3rd cycle. I have to say, this neurotrophic compound is making me think more clear than any other noots. I just get more done and i am happier. Verbal fluency isn't as much intense as with piracetam but i feel i'm able to user more brain power when ever i need to explain stuff to someone.

Did anybody try the pill version ? I'd be interested because it's kind of complicated with the amps.

That's seriously interesting... I can't wait to try this stuff! ;)

The only problem is... I just tried to order some from DRUGSPRO, but they've apparently got a problem with their online payment system at the moment so I can't complete the online checkout... And IAS don't ship to the UK!

Out of interest where have you bought yours from?

I ordered mine from both drugspro and ias. it took a month approx in both cases to reach me. the packages were opened when i received them but the amps were not unpackaged. If you can't order from there there is also renacenz in mexico (another brand name for cerebrolysin, ever pharma ). not sure if you need a prescruption though.

also, keep in mind that the benefits don't appear instantly, it took me 10 days to start responding to this. If you can, order for more than a month and start counting from when you see improvements.

I think i'll try the pill form. If i can find it
