Hi everyone. Is there are people who use Cerebrolysin every day?

It is not dangerous? (In russia 10 vials 10g cost 19$ 660rub)

Where did you get prices as low as this? Can you please provide a link?

If you understand russian.

smed.ru/52123

There's 1ml per vial, not 10 :)

I understand Russian. I think your post originally created the impression that 10 vials of 10 ml each cost 660 rubles, although you said grams not ml. Doesn't matter now.

Average prices for Cerebrolysin in Russia:

5x5ml - 849 Russian Ruble = 24.734 US Dollar
5x10ml - 1678 Russian Ruble = 48.880 US Dollar

It's much cheaper. Unfortunately Russian post does not allow shipping medications. You must get a permission from the authorities, otherwise it will get seized. It's hardly possible to ship it successfully. I tried importing semax, ladasten, adaptol from Russia with no luck..

suppose I may have to have them send it in a suitcase at the airport? maybe a years worth?

No, it is bad idea, because you can take with you no more 2 vials.

It's law.

Can you post the reference to this law please? English, Ukrainian, or, Russian legal documents are all acceptable.

The 10ml ampules are $38 usd. http://www.smed.ru/p...eyro-farma-gmbh

Incidentally, semax 1% is $54.

So is the general consensus now that www.Nootropics.eu is no longer the best source to purchase CERE from?

I just purchased two 5 x 5ml packs from nootropics.eu for about $135.  These other sites look much cheaper, glad to see they appear to be the same product as well.

My plan was to use CERE for a few days and if I don't feel any unwanted side-effects I will order another 2 packs to make sure I have enough for a full month cycle.

My cycle should begin tomorrow or tuesday, barring I make a full recovery from the cold I've had.  I will post updates here.  Btw, I am pretty healthy and want to use CERE to improve memory and alleviate mild social anxiety issues...have smoked too much pot in the past couple years.

Just did my 1st 5 ML injection about 5 minutes ago.

Used a 10 ml syringe, a 19g 1.5" 5 micron-filtered withdrawal needle, and a 23 g 1" injection needle.

I felt some slight pain going into my Vastus Lateralis and thought maybe I had hit a nerve, but when I aspirated I saw no blood.  I pulled back on the syringe for a few seconds and didn't notice anything come up.  After slowly injecting the CERE over the course of a minute, I removed the needle from my leg and when taking off the needle, noticed a little blood on the end of the syringe.

Now I'm concerned that I actually injected directly into the nerve, and I'm wondering how bad this is?  Or maybe it's normal to see a little blood at the end of the syringe?

Anyway that was my 1st injection so hopefully tomorrow goes better.  All I feel after a few minutes is some slight nausea, but that is probably due to my nerves.  Will update later.

The last 3 days of injections have been a bit of a roller coaster ride for me.

I must make important note that about 6 days ago I stopped using Uridine.  I've been using 250mg of Uridine every morning for the past 6 months.  What Uridine has done for me is completely balance my emotions.  I used to go from happy to content to really angry and emotional pretty easily.  My parents used to have me go to anger management because I'd lose my temper so easily.  That actually runs in my family I think because my dad has 1 hell of a temper.  Anyway, Uridine completely cured my anger issues and balanced my emotions.

However it also made me emotionally numb to a certain extent, which is why I decided to drop it.  I haven't felt great since stopping it, my emotions have been a bit rocky and I've had some negative thoughts that I have had trouble letting go of.

I started CERE 2 days after stopping Uridine, and I was also just coming off of a Stomach Flu where I had puked a lot for about a day.  I was feeling better but my stomach could not take much food and I'm still today having trouble putting a lot of food down without feeling nauseous (obviously the virus is still lingering or my stomach lining/GI tract is still irritated and recovering)

Here are the effects I felt:

Day 1: Felt extremely calm, albeit very serious.  I felt myself thinking about every decision I make in many different ways, instead of thinking about things in a straight forward manner.  Basically I felt calm and very contemplative and analytic.

Day 2: Didn't feel much of anything...so I think day 1 could have been a placebo

Day 3: My best friend has been really sick with a sinus infection and nasty cold.  I started getting a sore throat and runny nose/chest congestion but decided to inject anyway.  This was yesterday, and I had an awful day.  I haven't felt the 'Marked antidepressant' effect that many others have mentioned.  I fear that my brain hasn't been right since halting Uridine, or that my brain simply needs a little time to readjust to not using Uridine (maybe I'm even having Uridine withdrawal).  But anyway, instead of any antidepressant effects, I felt again extremely serious.  To the point I'm over-analyzing every little thing going on my life, and in fact thinking negatively about it.  However I do feel increased focus and ability to understand things.  I can read my book longer without getting distracted and feel like I can learn and understand concepts more easily.

I think I could have meditated and put that serious feeling to good use but I couldn't stop thinking about how disappointing my summer has been.  It actually hasn't been bad at all, but I had a couple solid summer internships that fell through which I was a bit disappointed by.

So Cere has made me feel somewhat calm after 3 days of injections, but it has also put me in a slightly bad mood where I think too deeply about everything I'm currently doing.

I also think I'm a fool for starting a cycle 2 days after having a nasty Stomach bug, and then continuing it while I have a bad cold.  I think that could be partially be responsible for how I'm feeling, because who feels mentally good anyway when they're sick/recovering from sickness and have a shitty appetite?

So my plan is to take several days off, and next week, if I'm feeling 100% health wise, continuing my cycle.  I have 7 5ml Ampules left, and I think taking them every other day instead of everyday might be a better way to re-start my CERE cycle.  I'm really hoping that when I begin again that the CERE will help me analyze things better, but also view things in a more positive light.  Although I'm in no way depressed, I'd like to feel the antidepressant effects others have spoken about because being able to think more clearly with greater focus while ALSO feeling extra positive about life sounds awesome.

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions please let me know, thanks!  I will update next week when I am feeling better.

Its actually very hard to hit a vein in the Vastus Lateralis site, but when you do you will feel pain and a pressure on the needle. If you had hit a vein, blood would quickly spurt after you pulled out the syringe, this has happened to me a few times, and even this is not a big deal. Just apply pressure and the bleeding will stop, there are no major veins in the site you are using.

You absolutely did not hit a vein when you injected this time. I'm guessing you moved the needle through the skin slowly, I notice that when you go slowly you can see a little bit of blood at the tip of the needle. Not an issue at all, perfectly normal.

Good to know. I have gotten small amounts of blood into the syringes after having injected it. It can't be more than one small drop in the remaining content, since it is only a slight discoloration. Only once or twice have I gotten blood when aspirating (very obvious), in which case I remove the needle and push out the blood, re-fit and try again (or discard the entire thing if I can't do it elegantly). I have used up a 100 pack of needles, so about 40-50 injections.

I always worry about my shaky hands.

Pain seems rather common if you inject in the vastus lateralis, in my experience. I have aborted these injections many times because of this. How I feel in general makes it worse I think.

I will in the future use 27G (19mm) needles for vastus lateralis injections,  as there is very little fat in that area. and continue with 25g (25mm) for glute injections.

everytime when I experience a bad sensation while injecting, I pull out the needle and change the site.

But it happened sometimes that I couldnt walk good for a half day because of the injection.

So the injections didnt caused any big problems up till now.

When you choose a new site do you swap needles or use the same one that just entered your leg?

Oddly both times I injected in my right thigh I felt some minor pain going in but my left injection was pain free and easy...right outer thigh still a bit sore, left outer thigh doesn't feel a thing.

Good to know nicking something or drawing a little blood isn't anything to worry about.

I use the same.

I dont touch the needle or anything like that.

So from my view there is no chance that the needle is contaminated.

Yes, the blood is normal.

Afaik the nurses try allways to pull out some blood, before they injecting.

If blood apears in the syringe, they change the site, because they hit a vein.

( which is anyway not a big deal)

You can read this in some nurse forums.

Days 4 and 5 of Injections:

So my health is back to 100%.  No more nagging cold and my stomach is back to normal...whatever stomach virus I had lingered for almost a week because my appetite was super low and everything I ate made me slightly nauseated.  Anyway I'm feeling good now.

Days 4 and 5 of injections went very well and I'm starting to notice some serious effects.  I've been in a really good mood the past 2 days, so I'm starting to notice the antidepressant effects.  I'm pleased by the world around me, but I won't say it's impossible to feel shitty while on CERE.  If you think deeply about something negative or something sad that has happened, you will feel those emotions deeply.  I've been pretty happy the past 2 days but have been thinking of how unproductive I have been this summer in retrospect...CERE seems to be pushing me to achieve more and accomplish/work towards more things I can add to my resume.

The #1 thing I've noticed so far on CERE is the 'calm' and 'in control' feeling I've had the past 2 days.  It's definitely unique and different than how I normally feel.  Don't get me wrong, I'm a cool guy who socializes with all my friends, even those I don't know, girls included...however I often feel a bit anxious before I meet new people and I would say I've always had a faint lingering bit of social anxiety, even though most people think of me as a calm (chill) but social person - I keep the anxiety within, and don't express it how others might with unconfident body language/shaky voice etc.

Anyway the past 2 days I've been hitting on every attractive girl I've seen outside during the day.  Over the past year I've probably approached over 100 girls during the day, but I always get the jitters at first and often my 1st few approaches I can come off a little nervous.  With CERE doing its work in my body, I don't really get those jitters or initial nervousness.  I'm confident and very calm.  If a girl, or guy for that matter doesn't want to hear what I have to say, that's cool, no big deal.  The anti-anxiety effects are strong.  I won't say however that I feel a lot more social.  But if you want to go talk to people or do something out of your comfort zone you will be able to do so perhaps a little bit more smoothly and without much anxiety.

Like I mentioned in my earlier posts I can focus on things more easily and my thinking seems multi-faceted.  Any challenge that presents itself I think about in many different ways.  If a friend mentions the idea of going on a weekend trip somewhere, I will quickly start processing all the different ways we could spend the weekend, places we could go, accommodations, etc.  Whereas normally I'd just be like 'yeah bro, let's go party this weekend' without giving my thoughts enough analysis.

2 more quick things that I must add because they're interesting:

Marijuana - I'm not going to lie, I've smoked weed almost daily for the past several years, and I have an extremely low tolerance.  I'm the kind of  guy who rips a bong or smokes a fat joint and then complains to his friends when he gets too high.  I easily panic and get paranoid because I feel like I have lost control and am just too high.  With CERE, I can smoke 2 joints back to back and not feel particularly high at all.  It's weird as hell honestly, like I'm high but like my brain is still incredibly focused and operating at 100%.  When I used to smoke, I'd feel extremely dumb, giggly, and as if my brain was maybe functioning at 25%...this is really interesting and somewhat impressive that a drug can have this effect on me.

This part is negative fellas - I feel like my pain is somehow increased.  I've had chronic back and neck pain for about a decade.  I have multiple herniated discs as well as scheuermann's kyphosis.  No idea how I have these issues, but I've seen many back docs and most agree that I have the spine of an 80 year old man.  I currently do Yoga and chiropractic work to help manage it.  I was also prescribed tramadol for many years which helped a lot, until I started feeling depressed while not on it, which is why I had to quit Trammy which had helped me so much.  I am now prescribed Vicodin and use it about 3/4 X a week to help my pain when it's bad but not enough to get addicted.  But the past 2 days I've felt the constant dull radiating pain through my spine and it somehow feels pronounced and enhanced.  I hope this doesn't remain, or in fact progress as I continue using CERE...because I'm really enjoying the other effects. I do not want to start taking Vicodin every day as I know what kind of trouble that will bring.  I'm wondering though if CERE might repair my brain and somehow allow Tramadol to work well for me again.  I also wonder about Gabapentin, I'v never been prescribed it but I know many people use it for my kind of pain around the clock and have decent success with it.  Hopefully I won't need the pain medicine any more than I do now but I'm just thinking about the possibility of CERE enhancing my back pain...and I know many CERE effects can be somewhat permanent or long-lasting.

Fingers crossed, would be cool if CERE could bring me the positive effects I've been experiencing and somehow decrease my chronic pain too - we can all dream  :|?

Just if anybody want to know, I´ve ordered Cerebrolysin from gerovitalshop and can confirm that it is legit.

I ordered Cerebrolysin from them,  but they informed me today that they are not comfortable with the shipping options available to South Africa,  it could take more than 2 weeks.  For what it's worth, they had no problem reversing the payment.

Registered airmail priority - the second shipping option - delivers in ~ 14 days.

Cerebrolysin is a very sensitive product, if it stays in heat for several days it could be altered, please let me know your opinion, I would rather cancel.

According to the Cerebrolysin Product Monograph that I could find on the internet, Cerebrolysin should be stored below 25C, but not frozen.

Luckily I know somebody that will be visiting the Europe in a few months time,  so hopefully I will be able to trail Cerebrolysin for my depression when they get back.

That brings me to a question.

My depression goes through phases,  I have just gone through a 2 week period that was bad,  a lot of apathy, day/night cycle getting messed up, some anxiety and general lack of taking proper care of myself.

Would there be any value in only using neurotrophic substances like Cerebrolysin or some of the other substances discussed on these forums at the onset of these depressive phases?

I suppose it would depend on what the real underlining reason is for the depressive episodes.

If it is totally organic, caused by some substance lacking in the brain and the neurotrophic does supply this lacking substance, then it would be positive.

But if the neurotrophic substance just acts as a "stimulant" for neuronal development, then it would probably be better to wait for a normal phase before I start to use it.

Try to get somewhat  informed.

It could be that its either not aviable or needs a perscription.

So it depents in which Country the person goes.

Gerovitalshop and Nootropic.eu

Gerovitalshop charges 20 euro for the shipping and wants 50 Euro for 5x10ml

Nootropic.eu wants arround 7 Pounds for the shipping which is ca.8.75 Euro and wants arround 60 Euro (50 pound) for 5x10ml

But offered, at least recently, as far as I remeber something like buy 3 packages, get 1 free.

Would anyone possibly being interested in buying my remaining cerebrolysin? I have 5 boxes of 5x10mL bottles (still wrapped in plastic) and one 5x5mL box. I'll sell it for 80% of what it's selling for right now and throw in 25 filter wheels, fill needles and 10mL syringes (w/o the needle).

I can send a picture for proof if need be.

Hi everyone.

I am suffering very badly with MDMA and amphetamine induced brain damage. I am hoping that Cerebrolysin can help. (Here is my thread that goes into more detail if anyone is interested: http://www.longecity...lp/#entry679948 )

The only problem is that I still live with my family (due to being extremely low functioning) and they have said that I can only take it if I am monitored by a doctor and Cerebrolysin is unlicensed in the UK, where I live.

Firstly does anyone know any doctors that could treat me with Cerebrolysin? I am prepared to travel to another country if I have to.

Secondly I am having real trouble convincing my family that this stuff is the way to go – they are very wary of anything that is unlicensed in the UK and injected. Because of this it would help convince my family that this stuff is safe if some long term users could post their experiences. (I have shown them experiences on this thread and they say “yes well that was in 2012 – what had happened since then”.

Please mention what dose you took for how long and if you still take it and also if you were taking it to fix brain damage or just cognitively enhance a normal brain.

Can someone please confirm if the benefits stay after stopping or if your brain goes back to way it was before you took it? My opinion is that the benefits should stay after stopping because it has fixed the damage.

Thank you.

Well first of all, have you stopped using drugs? I ask this because as a recovering addict myself I know we can be full of shit.

Second, how long have you been completely clean? Depending on the substances being abused it takes the brain about 12-18 months to return to a sense of normalcy or baseline.

I was addicted to heroin for 4 years in addition to periods of heavy cocaine/crack use. I have been in recovery for 6 years now and I will attest to the brains ability to recover if given sufficient time.

I am not saying cerebrolysin isn't a reasonable option. Perhaps it could speed up the recovery process. I didn't use it until I was clean for years so I can't really attest to that. But it's important to realize that there will be a period of time where your brain is just out of whack. It gets way better as long as you stay clean. If you're not involved in some sort of support group/program I highly suggest it.

My two cents

Hi Foreseason,

I have been clean for over 6 years (as the thread I posted a link to states - I didn't post the full back-story here is that I didn't want to be rude and hijack the Cere thread).

Basically to summarise I am so depressed I cannot function and lead a normal life - I have been like this for 6 years and during that time have only had a slight improvement. I will not say any more here about my situation in order to avoid hijacking the thread, if anyone is interested they can read my thread.

Glad to hear you recovered

Cerebrolysin for vascular dementia.

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/23440834

Peptidergic Drugs for the Treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury

http://www.medscape....warticle/780437

Asking the other way arround:

Is there anything in the World besides Cerebrolysin that may halt the progression of Vascular Dementia ?

Are all of those Scientist in the Abstracts below paid by a small austrian company, to promote their "bunk"

There is a reason why so many people are here on longecity.

Because the interaction of the (current!) Science with the Doctors limbs for Years..

I´m not saying that what we do is safe ( apart from cerebrolysin, which is safe! )

But I´m saying that the reasons unlicensing for e.g. Cerebrolysin are sometimes questionable

Again otherway arround:

- click to one of the links below and You´ll land on ncbi/pubmed

- There is a searchbar. Type in ... + Cerebrolysin to find anything which could be linked to Your condition

- Like:

Cerebrolysin enhances cognitive recovery of mild traumatic brain injury patients: double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized study.

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/23656173

- Print it out and go with it to Your Doctor and ask whether it could be helpful for You.

- then let the Doctor talk with Your Parents

Keep in mind that Doctors are like all other people. You will find all kind of them, so ignorant ones and mindful ones etc..

Some people here with e.g. long lasting Depressions or schizophrenia,

have Doctors who allow them to bring an abstract to them and then they´ll perscribe them that stuff.

And I´m somewhat sceptic to deem this irresponsible in general.

Efficacy and safety of Cerebrolysin in moderate to moderately severe Alzheimer's disease: results of a randomized, double-blind, controlled trial investigating three dosages of Cerebrolysin.

http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/20500802

Btw:

Cerebrolysin is not a panacea.

It could help but perhaps to some more than to other.

Hi Flex.

The problem is not convincing them that Cere could help me as much as it is getting it administered to their satisfaction. (They worry about what I have bought off the internet being fake and also about me injecting myself wrong - despite the fact that I bought from a reputable website that lots of people on this thread have used and I have now read probably 30+ guides on IM injections.

Problem is it is unlicensed in the UK where I live so noone will risk administering it (or has even heard of it).

I know it is licensed in 44 countries around the world - there must be a doctor somewhere who will help me. Only problem is I need a doctor that speaks English. My family will support me in taking it if I can find a doctor who had used it before. I will obviously have to travel to another country for this. My family have said that they would want the doctor to inject me for the first week or so and then teach me how to do it (to their satisfaction). Even this is a compromise for them but they understand that I cannot afford to live in say Latvia for a whole month for the entire cycle to be monitored by a doctor.

Thank you for posting the links to the studies - they may come in useful and also for the tip about pubmed searching.

You are welcome.

Unfortunaetly, I dont know the Heath-system in the UK.

Anyway, here´s my idea:

If You are able to find a Doctor who is able to fill out just the perscription,

You could order it from any Pharmacy e.g. a German one and get a legitimate exemplar.

Then You could look out alternatively for a nurse who is willed to inject it.

Edit:

Or ask a perhaps(?) Dutch or any other (e.g. EU) Countries Pharmacy who dont want a perscription, You know ?

They would then order it directly from austria

Btw: the Austrian pharmacies on they self are very scrict and even dont allow to send any perscription meds per shippment to private persons

Hi Flex

In the UK we have a nationalized health service ie state dotors.

I have actually got a months worth of Cere already. I tried hiring a private nurse - noone would do it because no UK prescription.

My family wouldn't be happy with that anyways - they basically want someone in a suit sitting behind a desk saying that it is safe for me to take.

I was hoping someone on this thread must be under the care of a doctor and could give me their details. What country they are in doesn't matter I will travel.

Seriously - noone????? :(
