Hey there guys,

I have a nice supply of -racetams, Choline sources, Vinpocetine, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Acetyl-L-Carnitine, all ready to start my 3 month annual exam stack again (I have my regime sorted and it has worked wonders for me everytime :)).

However, the Nootropics that I actually find the most effective and that I can actually feel working, to some extent, are only available from overseas (Relentless...CognitiveNutrition etc..). As well as taking a long time for shipping, this means I also have to pay a customs charge upon delivery, which is usually outrageous and bumps up the price of the products to a point where is was not worth it. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any UK-based sources (or Europe: just anywhere that has fast delivery and isn't extortionate) for the following Noots:

- Pyritinol
- Picamilion
- L-Huperzine-A

The first two are the most essential I guess as they seem to work incredibly well for me. I am also after Desmopressin/Vasopressin but I know that's hard to comeby so I'm not including it in my "Imperatives" list. Same goes for Selegiline (Deprenyl).

I know that some people find that Nootropics don't do much for them, or get tired of constantly taking bulk amounts of pills days after day, so I wouldn't be surprised if anyone has any spares or leftovers lying about. If so, please do let me know (PM me or post here) and I will happily take them off your hands :)

I have always found Pyritinol and Picamilon together to be incredibly synergesic and perfect at calming me down and clearing that mental "brain fog", so I would really appreciate it if anyone could get back to me on UK sources for either or both.

Thanks in advance,
Alex :)

I have had the same problem, mainly for piracetam and huperzine a, although I've got a big supply for now, bought them a few months ago from uk website but they all seem to of taken them down for some reason, every site. The huperzine a I got of ebay, souce naturals version, and when I searched there was loads to choose from uk suppliers, now there isn't any. There must of been some law passed on nootropics. Can't seem to find out though.

Your right, in most cases the shipping costs are actually more expensive than the product.

Never known Picamilon to be sold in the uk, this is one thing I haven't tried which I want to. Does it work effectively as a nootropic?

Please let me know if you find anything.

QHI usually sends stuff by post to the UK which means that duty is very rarely or never charged: this site is useful for Vasopressin and Selegeline.

Similarly for Airsealed Marketing for other stuff.

Aldo: For Huperzia Serrata Extract try (bulk) : TCM UK LTD. Unit 5, The Courtyards, Victoria Road, Leeds LS14 2LB UK. Reseach looks promising. Effects on memory noticeable if you keep at it for months at recommended levels (2 a day). Impossible to tell (in my case) who is doing what? Piracetam or Huperzia or Choline or Cod Liver Oil? - Synergy is no doubt at work. Do not expect dramatic effects unless you keep at it (religiously) over weeks/months. I take one (1.2. mg.) tablet of Piracetam and one (500mg.) Choline/Inositol per day/AM. Two of Huperzia (50mcg/each). Also teaspoon of cod liver oil (daily). Avoid alcohol like the plague! It has a very negative side on the nerve cell (memory) as you know.Piracetam (Noostan) I buy from a contact in Portugal at £9 pack for 60 capsules at 1.2. grs. and Choline Inositol (Holland & Barrett). There is some evidence of Piracetam regenerative properties/effect (on nerve cells). Thank you for the tips on Pyritinol and Picamilon.Added tip: For a sudden mental boost try PUKKA's "Ashwaganda & Gotu Kola" . Available from www.pukkaherbs.com

If you can be arsed sending a signed disclaimer form and buying at least 45 euros worth of stuff, http://www.qhi.co.uk/ does desmopressin for 20.14 euros/2.5ml and generic deprenyl for 13.82 euros /60 5mg tabs. I've had stuff from them before, they deliver the goods, although you'll find a lot of the stuff they sell cheaper elsewhere. For the other three I don't know anywhere in europe and I certainly don't think you'll find them in the UK, but http://smart-nutrition.net/brain.html certainly seem reasonable. They're my usual supplier for centrophenoxine, their postage is a $12 flat rate and it gets to the UK fast (never had to wait more than a week). You'll still get stung on customs charges though (I paid £11 on 3 bottles of centro). Their prices for Pyritinol, Picamilon and L-Huperzine are $18.95/60 200mg caps, $29.95/60 100mg caps and $9.95/60 100 microgram caps respectively. Hope this is helpful

I'd also be interested to know if anyone's found anywhere cheaper/nearer :)

Thanks for all the replies! :)

Yeah, QHI does look good, and I will get round to sorting out an account at some point, but only when I'm sure I want Desmopressin and/or Selegiline. I've heard positive things...

I think I'm just gonna have to stick to CognitiveNutrition or RI for the time being. They both have postage costs which are extortionate, but I find the former have more potent products and less of a customs charge than RI, even though the latter is more reputable.

I don't have a UK source for any Nootropics anymore :( Well, the amino acids and a few quasi-Nootropics from eBay, but nothing 'proper'.

Hello there.

Could you please tell me this Portuguese contact? I'm currently looking for reputable places to buy a few noots from, and I'd be glad if i could find a couple here at home. Everything else starts being a bit expensive.

Cheers mate.
