For a little "test footage" we could take the cloud clip, there's also one without text - i might make 2 or 3 different versions?

I saw that blank cloud one too coincedentally enough. There must be a lot of themes with it. I also saw one that looped something like "baby, child, adolescent, adult, middle age, elderly" I think it was, through the clouds. Ill buy the cloud months, or the grave for somebody who wants to work with one of those for sure, but Im not sure about other ones yet. You would have to sell me on it.

For the months flying through the clouds you could maybe try a wording that scrolls across the bottom, and or voice to if you want, that says:

"Life is a gracious unexplainable miracle. It flies by in the blink of any eye. Before we know it we will all be dead. We can defeat aging and live unlimited lifespans. There is a movement at imminst working to do this. Science has already fixed diseases and disorders that are a lot like the 7 that cause aging. Join us in this work to stay alive. We need world support as soon as possible. We need you like there is no tomorrow. Join: Imminst.org - Advocates & Researchers for Unlimited Lifespans (logo)"

Ah, i should have been more clear, my intention was to use the blank one to replace the months, can be done in After Effects (although not easily with proper clouds overlaying).

How much of a budget do you have? The editing is pretty straightforward, why not go for something we could put on youtube right away.
I'd like to keep it simple and rely for effect on beautiful imagery, these are HD. A simple, memorizable message that makes more curious than informs. Don't clog
the picture with too much text, who's going to read it? Here's my pitch:

[Dark screen] Old, fragile voice: What time is it?

[Fade in clock] Young, sprue voice: Time to stop aging [clock slows and stops ]

[Fade in Imminst Logo, site address]

Variations:
- clock stops and goes backwards ( reverse aging, girl's voice)
- additional narrative, where the old voice morphs to young. I have the software, can be pretty effective.

these are nice clocks.

What do you say?

Im confused, so your saying you just want to use clouds with out months? Thats fine of course, its just that the months part is the biggest part of the theme, representing time flying by.

For budget, this is all coming out of my pocket, at least for now, and some of those clips get kind of expensive. I guess I would have to say that $50.00 with in the next two weeks, unless somebody else also wants to donate to this. Any takers? If this is successful then I think it will help us get donations and treasure chest grants for it. There is an art team fund raiser developing. This would probably help that.

I like your wording for a poster style ad. Im not sure if it would work for a 15 second clip. It might though. I think my wording may be a little too long yes, but it could be cut down, or all new wording that is a little longer than yours and a little shorter than mine could work. If this works then it would be more like a television commercial, and even hypothetically could be put right on tv.

Those clocks could work yes. Im so glad your into this because I think its a really lurcative branch for the art team, and there are so many outstanding possibilities that could be done through istock. I have a list of clocks too, we should start creating individual suggestions in the art team that start with "Suggestion:" to try to encourage more people to do the same and kind of possibly jump start excitement and movement in the art team kind of like the nutrients polls have done for the supplements mix. Theres an hour glass rotating in a circle that could possibly be turned in to a life like imminst logo, theres a clock kind of like you have winding down like a stair case, theres a high def earth spinning fairly fast with a clock hand on top of it spinning, man, I could be wrong, but I think we've hit a hot spot here, thanks to skotunung.

Yeah, there's definitely potential here, istock is great (if a little expensive). I just saw you can download a lo-fi flash version of the clips for free, so i might start give the clock clip a go, see if it meets approval.

For the clouds, i meant to use the blank one to edit in flying text similar to the months. Here you could loose as many words as you wish.
Where can i get a high-def imminst logo/animation?

You can get lo fi for free? How good is it? I tried to find that option but I didnt see it.

There is a topic to collect logos here. I thought it had more than that.

Part of the purpose of that topic is to collect more, because most of those logos are only good for certain things. Like, many of them are small with bad resolution when enlarged, or plain, or they have wording designed for specific things. Like one says "why not?" some say Immortality Institute, and some of them we dont want to say that. If you want to make some more versions, then try that too.

Then there is also this moving imminst logo gif that jaydfox made. I thought we had it embeded here, but I cant find it. Youll have to view it from his profile at that link, and you may be able to get a bigger version if you can get a hold of him.

So are you fluent at using photoshop or things like that at all? You dont necessarily have to create pictures, you can also do things like add logos and catch phrases to pictures. Youll want to make sure that they are royalty free. What would really be great is if you motivated a couple other members of the art team to make pictures for you to add logos and catch phrases to if you want. There are topics for all of these things, and all flyers have to pass final reviews of course. You could also perform tasks like helping to collect all the flyers, arranging all the suggestion topics, recruiting more art team members, etc...

Tell me what you see yourself doing for the team and if it sounds good then Ill add you to the team. Youll then get a monthly memo giving you updates and reminders. Every time that you perform at least 1 task for the team per month you will be entered in the volunteer prize drawing as well, but the best part is that by joining, you will inspire more to join.

What I see myself doing is collecting all the flyers, recruiting more art team members (i'm in the process of contacting a family friend who works as a producer for a major film company), I could add logos and catch phrases to the pictures (though someone will have to teach me how to do this effectively).

I don't have any experience with using photoshop or other programs to create art but I am a very good drawer, and I could learn how to use photo shop.

I plan to make some speeches to my Biology class in high school about life extension. Would that be part of the art team or the internetworking team?

You are a good drawer? show us some drawings. I like to see them. :)

If you want to learn using photoshop its costs time but it is a good program for coloring drawings and edit pictures

So can we get a hands up from anyone who is still available for art team?

I'm going to make some videos and I'd like to see a larger resolution symbol that I can put in videos. I'm working on something right now, but it's not going to look like the original.

A vector graphic of the logo that re-sized automatically to any size media would be nice. Not sure if we have that right now.
