Where is the best and least expensive place to buy Galantamine online? I live in Canada and in this Country Galantamine requires a presript. I am 31yo Male and I'm just getting over a major depressive episode and my verbal recall memory is less then stellar.I end up using a less sophisticated word when I know there is a word that best matches what I want to express.I am on Effexor XR 150mgx1/day for the depression but this does nothing for my verbal acuity. Is it true that the effects of Galantamine wear off the longer it is taken? If so should I only take it once every other week? I would be starting at 4mg/day and increasing each week to a max of 16mg/day.I told my doctor I was experiencing a slight cognitive decline and he said "Oh that's just depression". So can anyone help me find this Nootropic?
Thanks

We have Galantamine at CerebralHealth.com. We have Galantamine combined with Alpha GPC in a product called Memeron and also offer pure Galantamine in bulk powder.

The Memeron seems to be prohibitively expensive ($75/60 caps).

There are cheaper forms of galantamine on the net: search for "galantamind" or "pro-galantamine"

just curious about what led you to believe that galantamine would assist with word recall specifically? mine's also taken a hit, though i personally believe it's a side-effect of anti-depressant usage, rather than depression (in my case anyway).

Quite simply I've read numerous reports on the inhibition of acytlcholinerase by Galantamine and also the positive effects of Galantamine on Dream Recall. Seems funny though why it so hard to get ...could it be that the pharmaceutical companies don't want regular people buying a drug they sell for Alzheimer's?

As someone who is struggling with the same issues, I would encourage caution before taking any sort of acetylcholinesterase inhibitor.

With depression, an imbalance of the cholinergic-adrenergic is very dangerous. Personally, any form of choline sends me into a depression. I found this out the hard way... and am still trying to fully understand it. Huperzine A, which is also an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, sends me into a spiral of despair. Choline citrate... forget it. Eggs... depression. Too much liver/broccoli/chocolate (high in choline)... depression.

By inhibiting your ability to break down acetylcholine you're asking for an imbalance.

Well I'm already on one inhibitor (Seritonin) and I don't really see a diference so maybe I need to keep my Ach levels up too.If it doesn't work (ie Gastroinsitial Disruptions, Negative Neurologial Sypmtoms (sexual side effects) I'll discontinue it but I want to give it a try. ;)

dopamine and acetylcholine antagonize one another. To counter the effect (of ACH), use something to raise dopamine. I too had this problems but this method helped.

What would you recommend to raise dopamine consistently, diet and exercise aside?

Synapse,
Your price for bulk Galantamine is great ($2500/kg) but what about smaller amounts?
Is it likely that you'll ever sell maybe a gram for $25?

He's offering 100g for 2500, not 1kg. This stuff is really expensive. I'll have 8mg caps in about 6 weeks.

Ah, then my first calculations were correct=25 per gram. At 8 mg/day, that looks to be about $2 a day. I think its some good stuff, but I need to win my 300 Million dollars first.

Mike,
what do you estimate your price for the 8 mg will be?

Okay -- I really feel stupid. This is why I need galantamine, LOL.

If one gram equals 1000 mg, then that would come out to 125 days at 8mg/day, right?
Which if that is correct, then that would not be a bad price, $25.

Galantamine is pretty expensive and I think its a good idea to offer smaller quantities that are much more affordable for the average consumer. While Galantamine is in the product I created called "Memeron", I am going to offer Galantamine as a pure bulk powder starting today at CerebralHealth.com in 5 gram increments for $200. This works out to $40/gram and while not quite as good as the 100 gram price, should still be one of the best prices online.

Thank you for your suggestion and feedback.

Thanks for offering it in smaller quantities. This will be on my short list of things to
try.

I did the math and it looks like RelentlessImprovement.com might have something going on good.

If one were to buy 3 bottles of their Galantamine (8mg 60 count) and include shipping in the total cost, then a month's supply comes out to be a few pennies shy of $19.

I just ordered 2 bottles of Galantamine from Smart Nutrition. Can't wait for them to get here. I'm on my 3rd day of Aniracetam and want to start feeling it.

The Galantamine is 8 mg and I ordered two bottles w/ 30 in each.

I was axious to try Galantamine and I bought it at Advanced Dream Nutrition for 29.95 for 4mg of Galantamine with 3mg of Meletonin. My question is can I take meletonin during the day? Will it screw up my circadian rythm?

melatonin.. has to be taken at night.

Smart Powders currently has the best price on Galantamine. RI is also a good source.

Just ordered six bottles of 60x8mg from RI (relentlessimprovement). They're $25 if you buy six or more, so $52/g. Looks like the expiration date is this year, though, so I'll probably keep them refrigerated. The tabs are easy to split into 4mg halves, but they're a little chalky so produce some dust. Unfortunately RI's prices are high on everything else they carry. I did order some Phenibut to try, though I see smartpowders has it cheaper. When trying something new, I want to get capsules/tablets.

Advanced Dream Nutrition sells two products with 60x4mg caps for $30, but they look like the sort of place that markets to people with cotton-wool for brains, so they may not be reliable. All Day Chemist sells 10x4mg tabs for $3.75, 10x8mg for $7.25.
