Andy fully supports a 2 hour schedule, reducing the time frame is fine, increasing it above the half life is not.

A 3 hour schedule leaves me with headaches through out the round, lots of people report that a 2 hour schedule works a lot better than a 3 hour schedule, Andy made a comment (tongue in cheek) that a 30 minute schedule would be the best of course it is completely unworkable, I know a few people that did a strict 2 hour schedule day and night and they say that is the best they have felt on round. All schedules have to be a compromise between getting some sleep and keeping the dosing as close as possible to the previous dose.

As long as you are taking on all the right supplements across the round the issues of long rounds are not an issue, for me all the issues are when I stop a round, my life is a complete train smash for 1-2 days this is regardless of dose size and length of round.

It is worth mentioning that I know a lot of people that had to start ALA at very very low dosages I mean down to 1mg of ALA and they found this really hard, but over time they increased the dose size.

DMSA I have taken this on and off for years, it really messes me up, my gut dysbiosis gets a lot worse with DMSA so stopped taking it, I did find that taking 2-3 doses at the end of an ALA round did improve symptoms at the end of an ALA round, but I cannot handle the guy issues, if your issues are mercury you only need ALA it is the only thing that can go into the brain and clear mercury from the brain DMSA cannot not.

Finishing my rounds at 7pm at night is the sweet spot for me, this means by 9:30pm I start to feel really rubbish, I take a lot of milk thistle, choline (different types) loads of water then to bed. I am pretty hazy the next day but loading up on lots of different foods seems to make the day better for me, fatty foods seem to be the best for some reason.

The key to long rounds is to take as many days off as you had on the rounds, the time off the rounds is very important, you have just poisoned your body with mercury at the end of the round you need to get over that.

Not all round are the same, you can have 10 rounds that all worked well then the 11th was a bad one with no difference to the dose size and duration of the round, I put this down to (only a guess on my part) the redistribution of mercury hitting specific organs at the end of the round, so for example, one round could potentially leave you with more mercury in your thyriod at the end of the round than at the start of the round.

This is a gradual process that takes significant time many many years for very sick people to get better, chelation is hard on the body but is totally worth the effort.
