I will send a message to the moderator of this board if he does not stop making out of line and abusive posts.

LOL.
You do that, bdnf; it will give you something to do besides following me around the Internet flaming me; find a new hobby, you clearly need to get out more! [thumb] [wis]

Cosmos, you were the only person that supported Adam over on the Avant labs board and you seem to be the only person supporting him here.

Yeah, cosmos, that Adam guy is really crazy! You "support him." That's lame! How come you can go about your life and not follow Adam around the Internet harrasing him, as I do? Don't you think it's fun to antagonize Adam too? What, you don't? What's wrong with you, can't you see how fun this is for me?

The way in which you have addressed this issue parallels the behavior of a child and indeed strips all credibility from your name.

If you have any further comments please send me a personal message.

Cosmos, you were the only person that supported Adam over on the Avant labs board and you seem to be the only person supporting him here.  I don't know why, as Adam posts the most absurd things, e.g. his post on DDT (that was just stupid).

I'm not always one to ride on the bandwagon. I'm defending my right and the right of others to read an informational thread without this off topic banter.

http://www.imminst.o...p?s=&act=SF&f=1

Consider this forum a place for your to discuss your issues with adamp2p if necessary (I think this is the only forum which fits this kind of conversation).

Someone earlier in this thread mentioned an admiration for AORsupport, his well reasoned and extensive posts and such. Well consider that he did not degrade this thread into sludge match (if memory serves), he kept it on par with the nature of this forum even when he and adamp2p had some disagreements on idebenone.

BDNF, if you want to deconstruct someone's view of a nootropic, do it with studies and well reasoned posts. If such person does not respond to such conversation or is unwilling to acknowledge the points you made or argue them sufficiently to discount them, then simply discontinue the conversation. There is no need to resort to anything less than a civil and emotionally uncharged exchange, let's keep it above the fray.

I'm not going to convince you of my opinion of adamp2p, nor should I try to influence you in that manner, but at least heed what I just said about general conduct on this forum. I believe we can all get along if we keep our focus to the supplements we use for cognitive self-improvement or life extension.

Cheers.

Yes, and I take responsibility for going over the top in my argument regarding idebenone. But those of you whom I believe actually *know me -- know that I am passionate about this topic and often my passion takes over and makes me appear like an a#@hole; it is unintentional, I swear and I apologise for any statements I may have made during these moments of passion.

I have changed my user name simply because while searching the Internet for topics that interest me my name came up much more than I would like. What does this mean? Well people who actually know me (ie on a personal level or NOT on the Internet can easily find out too much about my personal life by searching for topics of my Interest; like let's say my mother!) might be shocked at the elaborate nature of my anti aging nootropic stack, etc. I want to be able to discuss my thoughts freely, and with my old user name it might be too easy to identify me.

As I may have mentioned before, I am currently in the process of adding content to my own public forum. It is what I would have wanted to find when searching the Internet for the topics that interest me; I think some of you will really like it. I spent at least six hours today adding content to it, and I am trying to make it something that people can browse through for several hours and learn something about my topic(s) of interest, as well as share their own knowledge. [thumb] :)

Where is that forum?. I welcome new resources, but sometimes I see the proliferation and dispersion of resources on the net as a problem.

Regarding there are no studies on healthy people, adam, that can be taken as a reason not to experiment on yourself with idebenone (or other) nootropic that have shown results in ill people/rats but show some theorethical problems. This is unfortunate because I think idebenone is very interesting and have tried it in 30mg doses and liked it.

For me centrophenoxine is much more interesting regarding NGF (which I understand innterests you). Centro is a composed molecule that have a part from an auxine (plant growth factor) and DMAE. I never took centro (yes DMAE) and I would like to find more info on this. Maybe there are other products with the same property (I know hydergine).

Anyway, dendrite or nerve growth is not all the problem, there is the "pruning" effect that is more important to develope an efficient brain when learning.

Regarding your "violent" posts I think you passed the line, but I would not be much concerned about aggressive posts with lots of emoticons. The "problem" maybe just that you are too young :-)

And yes, everything in the internet can be trace and used against you. Privacy is a concern. and nothing can stop a person to post about you. Also, many mailing lists have archives you are not aware of.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. The forum will not be viewable to the public until I feel it is ready, is that okay with you?

That is great that you liked it. Idebenone has been tested on humans (with very postive results) for over 20 years. In fact, its primary "approved for testing use" is explicitly to aid those whom have mitochondiral diseases! Members of this forum read the findings of a very small research group which expressed an unconfirmed, uncorroborated result as the truth. I warn you: if 95% of the medical community has concluded otherwise, I would consider your logical processes to be grossly irrational if you decided to believe the other 5%; that's just me, sorry. Apparently you are using "selective data" to draw your conclusions instead of the "cumulative data;" clearly the former is superior to the latter.

Once again, thank you for sharing your opinion; and for your helpful advice.

Take care.

In my post above ^^ I mean to say the latter is superior to the former; not the other way around.
