The chapter was started on October 14th 2010.

Oct 14th:
Attendees, Eric S., Jason P., and Scott W.
agenda, general, misc,

Oct 21rst:
Attendees, Eric S., Jason P., Scott W. and Calvin L.
agenda, introduction to the cause, whats in it for us, why is it possible, what kinds of outreach gets us there

Oct 28th:
Attendees, Eric S., Jason P. Scott W.
Agenda, 1. Better meeting location, likely going to try public library meeting room.
2. Making signs that advertise the chapter to have ready for next week.
3. Setting our focus, should it be complex, simple, or just informational? Complex involves getting people involved with any of a variety of projects, simple involves one objective to accel with like one of the cause petitions, informational involves just trying to get more and more people to come to the chapter and talk about the cause in general with no real objectives. It looks like we may be headed toward the petition option which we will bring a copy of to the table next week for consideration.

Nov 4th:

Attendees: Eric, Scott, new guy with his friend were no show, or possibly couldnt find us at our new location.
Held meeting at the trial location of the public library.

Agenda:

1. Go over the flyers we brought. We have each agreed to put up at least 5 by next week and will consider what revisions to it may be.

2. general

-we decided that we will each bring the address of a free local publication, or the publication itself, that is local, that we can look into advertising this chapter with.
-we made a list of places that we can put up flyers at, we will continue to expand and organize the list so that it is ready as check lists for when there are more people at the meetings.
-we will work on a smaller 1 page "trifold" (unifold?) flyer for where they might work better.

3. The focus of these meetings. We went over that the four main things we'll want to look to for these meetings, depending on whos at the particular meeting: 3 part intro, general outreach, extended outreach, and or 6 point plan work.

January 9th 2011, (schedule is now first thursday of each month, also scheduled in the libraries meeting room reservation page)

attendees:
Scott, Eric

Scott hasnt heard back from his newspaper friends. The radio and other publications hadnt written back at that point.

I brought in a typed up flyer for old folks homes. I brought in three copies.
I brought in ten generic copies of a general letter to the media about the imminst billboard.

We discussed general things, these things, and our general progress.

For next month Scott will have put up at least one old folks flyer, and will send out at least 4 of these media letters about the billboard. I will send out at least 6.

March 3rd 2011 - Library Rotary room

Attendees: Scott, Jason, Eric

length, 1 hour

We got one call from the billboard snail mailing, from the local newspaper. They didnt do the story.

There were no responses to the old folks flyer Scott reports and it was taken down recently.

At this meeting we spent a lot of time explaining the cause to Jason again. Hes on the fence. Its good practice for times when we may have a lot of fence sitters at a meeting.

We thought about what a more poignant outreach may be and we decided to go back to some more good traditional pamphleteering but with some adjustments like message sharpening, update it to the better outreach name "Longecity", to tighten in the target areas a bit more and to use one of the appeals to authority versions. We'll get that running and ready for next meeting.

April 7th 2011 - Library Rotary room

Attendees: Scott, Eric

length, 45 minutes

We will need more time for this pamphlet, look forward to technical Longecity pamphlet. In the mean time we went over general things and then distribution of most of the remaining 2011 Imminst Calender cards and then distributed them.
