Since Uridine could increase chances of mental (schizophrenia) problems, should this be restricted from younger people?
I'd say the opposite is more likely, given what it does to BPD. I'd like to see a study performed on it.

can someone summirize this. is there 1 supplement that contains all 3 ingredients or do you need them seperately and combine ?
if so, which supplements do you recomend one buys to combine ?
I think a sticky comment injected at position 1 may help here.

Morning:
300mg UMP, orally
GOOD multi vitamin, that includes the RDI of b group and trace minerals
500IU of mixed vitamin E
250mg choline
A large dose of fish oil with >700mg DHA + >300mg EPA (other forms available if you are vegetarian)
-optional, but (personally) recommended - 10mg noopept
Evening:
300mg UMP, orally
250mg choline
-optional, but (personally) recommended - 10mg noopept
Start there and re-evaluate after 1-2 weeks.
A good supplier is http://superiornutraceuticals.com - but I'd avoid their 'uridine enhanced' product, as I think it's imbalanced on the B vitamins and will probably lead to temporary mild tinnitus. (Any nootropic can, as the bloodflow and nervous system changes, but that one's avoidable!)

I can. Like, daily doses of five other mid-cost supplements or noots.I don't feel enough from uridine to justify daily use at 1 dollar/gram
In bulk UMP is less than 50¢ per day at the standard 250mg dose sublingual. I can't think of anything you can buy cheaper than that....not even a bottle of water.
This stuff is bloody expensive, as supplements go. If it profoundly improves your life it might well be worth it, but I don't feel nearly as much from 50 cents worth of daily UMP as I do from the average 50 cents worth of stuff in my stack.
Matter of lifestyle, I guess. Buying 50¢ bottles of water seems insane to me, too.I've tried and never noticed a significant difference. What UMP noticably does for me hasn't been contingent on any of the cofactors except possibly the B9 and B12 that comes mixed with the powder.Has anyone noticed any significant difference when adding gpc choline to the mix? I am currently unsure of uridine's effects, but have been feeling a little less stimulated than before. Could uridine supplementation without choline be depleting my choline stores perhaps? Could I be dropping in acetylcholine?
It's theoretically possible though, if it's causing more of the choline that reaches your brain to be used towards phosphatidylcholine.
I'd sooner look elsewhere, though. Do you use any daily dopaminergics to reach your usual level of stimulation? If so, uridine could be normalizing you downward, and you could consider taking it at night instead.

just curious where do you get your uridine then ? i assume brewer yeast's RNA/DNA ingredient on the lable contains it ? but still, its too heavy for me, is there uridine supplement all by itself that is made by reputable company and people can recomend it ??
Please re-read the comment you just quoted.

Hey Mr, I noticed you started noopept. Can you give some feed back on how that has fit in, postive or negative effects? too soon maybe

Mr. Happy,
It seems like you've jumped around a bit on the amount you recommend per day and whether to use UMP orally or sublingually (for someone just beginning and wanting to experiment).
Is your final recommendation 300mg twice a day orally? I just began using UMP on Monday - roughly 150mg twice a day sublingually.
One brief note - I eat eggs for choline, but do not take any of the other recommended supplements. Personally I believe with my generally healthy diet I should be fine in terms of trace minerals, B vitamins, vitamin E, and omega-3s (I eat only grass-fed meat, as well as consume fish on occasion - note, I was recently taking Carlson's Cod Liver Oil). If I would add anything, it would be Cod Liver Oil for omega-3s, but that isn't really an option right now. Would you care to comment on this as well?
This is a great thread. Took me a week to read through! I appreciate your hard work in staying on top of it! I think I speak for many of the lurkers on here when I say Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Do some people take this supplement at morning and evening? If so, at 300 mg each interval?
Along with Uridine, I am taking ALCAR, a multivitamin, L-glutamine, Vitamin D, Venlafaxine (150 mg), Fish Oil, and Guanfacine (2 mg morning & 1 mg evening).
I do not know if any of these are giving me higher dopamine.

Try 3 months on, 1 or 2 weeks off.Great thread guys! I have a simple question and don't know if it was answered before, but does Uridine need to be cycled on/off?
thx.

i was wondering, i saw supplements stating RNA/DNA and i avoided them before cuz i thought thats weird use for supplement but now im realizing what it means is, it contains uridine in natural form. is this good idea to get one of those and give it a try ??
im trying to get anything that i can directly with cash. i have no use for the website you cited because i dont have ability to buy things online and i cannot pay for them with cc.

I haven't seen tolerance, either. Just being conservative around cycling growth promoters.Been using UMP sublingual for 9 months with no breaks and I still experience the same positive effects now that I did 9 months ago. Absolutely no tolerence, to date.

so natural sources you will need a lot more and it wont be as noticable.
oh well, i guess if i can find it in some store locally. i dont trust any sites.

The one in most B vitamin supplements is choline bitartate, which will likely make you smell like fish in large doses.alright man. i just dont have cc to use online right now but i get your point. what about choline ? i read in general it is not bioavailable orally. they always put it in the b vitamin supplements. and i read its not easily crossing bbb in its usual form that is most often sold as supplement.

For sure! Can I use Lovaza in place of the DHA/EPA?
Just ordered my UMP also. I'm psyched!
I am also using Cognitex from Life Extension for the time being...
