Hey Santa, Havnen't you been taking this stack for the last 3 years or so? You've only had one beer during that time? haha. I drank a bunch of beer last week and didn't feel any different. I had a terrible hangover the next day as well but I think thats just because I don't think very often and I'm getting old.
Haha no I have been on this stack for about the last 3 months my friend, not years .

Magnesium along this will be act as an NMDA agonist along with its long list of neruological functions.
Forskolin and PDE4 inhibitor (artichoke or luteolin) will increase potentiation. Also will result in increase in acetylcholineesterase as well as deplete dopamine levels.
Alpha-GPC/ALCAR will work to increase acetylcholine levels to balance out the loss from ciltep as well as provide the additional benefit alongside TAU.
Some have noticed anxiety, jitters, highly stimmed out feeling etc. from ciltep and/or uridine stack and so for this 5-HTP could be a great bonus to increase serotnin to provide a nice calming effect.
Now with this in mind, obvioulsly a very precise ratio will need to be tested out for to be able to combine these together but do we think the TAU + Zinc will be enough to increase dopamine levels for CILTEP or do we think phenylalanine will be needed?
Thoughts on this?

Is there any specific reason why you only mentioned TAU? I have not tried TAU yet, but I definately feel the stimulating effect of zinc together with UMP.

UMP is best when used sublingually and TAU will have better bioavailability when taken orally.

Yes, that I know, but I was more inclining if you meant TAU had an advantage over UMP in its effect when combined with zinc. I mean that UMP works very well, too, together with zinc

I just opened the ump I bought from nootropics depot and it is definitely different from the superior nutraceuticals ump. It is more powdery and doesn't taste salty like the sn ump. It tastes a bit solventy, maybe a hint of ether. CAS matches ump disodium, lot number 20130315.
Same here, I have used it for couple days now, and although I am having same good effects with my previous batch, the taste bothers me. The positive side is the really good price and some helpful arrangement they did for me, in order to easily place an order as an international costumer. I ll order again from them, but probably not this specific batch of uridine, even when its half the price from any other store I searched on line. Although can be an option if you are very short on cash.

What a shame, I just ordered some from them too because of their coupon code. I can give another subjective comparison to Superior Nutraceutical's product when it arrives. The uridine UMP is pretty tasteless other than that slight salty taste, so I imagine any slight impurity would chance the taste quite a bit...

High quality fermented CLO on the other hand causes me no such problems. Anyone have any experience using high quality CLO + GPC + Uridine?

Mine appears to be basically the same as the current stuff from Superior Nutraceuticals. I've tasted it a few times and can't detect the taste of any solvent, though I think the jar itself might give off an odor. It is lot number 20131215.

does Uridine make anyone else irritable?
yes, even tiny amounts of ump made me irritable and depressed. mr happy said it was likely cause i still use caffeine, but i'm not willing to give that proven cognitive enhancer up quite yet.

editing to say that is the same lot with hephaestus, but different to chemicalambrosia, so it makes sense with the different experiences mentioned.

As I have privately discussed with Lucky Pierre I have the same experience from larger doses.

interesting, what amounts do you use and do you still drink caffeine? even like 50mg ump would mess up my mood

Unfortunately I developed a quick tolerance to the positive effects, having a "stressed anxiety" over 70-80mg myself, still I maintain a better baseline than when I started. I ll continue with smaller doses to see how things goes. I do not drink coffee with it.

"Uridine, a pyrimidine nucleoside present in many foods, is a modulator in the central nervous system. Uridine behaves as an anticonvulsant in a number of seizure models and also promotes sleep. In this study, we exposed mice to social isolation stress for 4 weeks and then investigated the effects of uridine on the changes induced by stress. Social isolation stress increased locomotor activity in an open field. This increase in locomotor activity was suppressed by uridine. Moreover, uridine prevented social isolation stress-induced aggressive behavior. To investigate how uridine administration modifies neurotransmitters, we estimated the concentration and release of neurotransmitters in the prefrontal cortex. Uridine modulated serotonin release. Our results suggest that uridine attenuates the behavioral changes due to social isolation stress in mice."

Uridine and nmda: http://www.ncbi.nlm....ubmed/19039933/
So take uridine and magnesium at night for happy receptors in the morning. Also take zinc in the morning, it is a dopamine reputable inhibitor (it lowered my sleep quality at night).

So it modulates seratonin and dopamine both, as well as being somewhat of a nmda antagonist effect so TAKE IT AT NIGHT. You need bursts and ebbs and flows of neurotransmitters for social responses and emotional inspiration. Only exception is if you have bipolar that is too far out of control.

This is the only study I've found far that shows uridine modulating serotonin, so one could still argue that it is seen as as too little sources to establish serotonin-release as one of uridine's primary mechanisms of action. So if anyone could find more studies showing uridine having a serotonergic effect, that would be great.
Also as a sidenote for people who take zinc, since it might help someone here, zinc is better to be taken without high-fibre food, calcium and magnesium, since it interferes with zinc's absorbtion.
