I am getting headaches from either acetylcysteine (NAC) or sarcosine (from cerebral health). Possibly a multivitamin as well. I took sarcosine and NAC yesterday and had sharp, transient headaches throughout the day. I also took a multivitamin yesterday as well.

I read that any of these three things can cause headaches. So I only took the NAC today. I'm specifically taking 2g a day - 1g in the morning and then around lunch time. Maybe I should take the second gram later in the afternoon. I got a weak, dull headache after taking the second dose of the NAC. I do want to keep taking acetylcysteine and sarcosine because I felt positive effects from them yesterday. What do you guys think?

what a weird reaction, probably not sarcosine. Probably not the multivitamin.

Possibly a coincidence? otherwise I'd guess it's the NAC, it messes with the expression of genes.
