Mixing / Stacking RACETAMS

I have found that my optimum dosage is around 350mg, but the effects seem to wear off very quickly. They set in about an hour and a half from administration and the enhanced cognition effects only last for about 3.5 hours after that, after which I continue to have some mood enhancing effects of it, but not the cognition effects. I only took it for two days (now I am trying Piracetam, or have been for about 4 days with no effects so far, so I am not stacking them until I decide on individual effects.), so I am wondering if the levels become more stable with time, or if I need to be taking it 3 times a day. I see you only take it once a day, and it seems to last you the whole day.

I've been doing a lot of research - lots of reading about nootropics and their benefits/side effects etc.
Insert Disclaimers here >> Yes i will consult my doctor & pharmacist, Yes & thank you in advance for sharing your "personal" insights with me :-)
- I'm looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience with the below list of if perhaps any tweaks / suggestions can be made or awareness of any negative interactions i should be aware of. I was hoping for a gentle start and to work up from there...
Intent >> Improve memory / cognitive function & focus
Note: already taking Ritalin as prescribed my MD
- Methylphenidate SR; 20mg, once in a.m.
- Methylphenidate; 10mg; once in p.m.
Considering adding the following
- Piracetam (Attack Dose): 3200mg; 3x daily - 5 days
- Piracetam (Normal): 1600mg; 3 x daily
- Licithin: 1200mg: once or twice daily depending on response to above
- Ginkgo Biloba: 400mg; once in am (may consider splitting to 200mg x twice daily depending on tolerance & its effect on stomach)
- Glutamine & Milk Thistle (recommended dosage) for continued good liver function....
Thoughts?
Thanks

ScienceGuy,
How long are you taking your stack ?
Noticed any tolerance ?
Do you have any experience with DMAE ?
Hiya,
Humblest apologies for the delay in replying. For a variety of reasons I was AWOL from this forum for a few months and I am still catching up!

RE: How long are you taking your stack?
I have been taking NOOTROPICS on and off for over 20 years. With regards to this particular stack I was taking it for a good couple of years.

No

RE: Do you have any experience with DMAE ?
Yes, it gives me a HEADACHE and makes me IRRITABLE; but that's just me... if you are considering trying it I recommend that you do so and see how YOU respond to it, as some people find it is great

Glad to see you're back! Thanks for sharing your nootropic advice. I'm fairly new to nootropics but I've followed your dosing on piracetam/pramiracetam and have had good results with both of them over the past month.
I've been reading threads on this site for a while now and your comments have been very helpful.

Did you ever suffer from any head aches/pressure when you used aniracetam? I take 1 standard capsule only. By the way - I'm relatively new to the nootropic terminology but what's half life?

Taken from drugs.com
The half-life of a drug is the time taken for the plasma concentration of a drug to reduce to half its original value.
For example: The half-life of Ambien is about 2 hours.
If you took a 10mg Ambien tablet at 8pm then by 10pm there would be 5mg remaining in your system and by 12pm there would be 2.5mg in your system and so on and so on...

Having tried piracetam, pramiracetam, aniracetam, and oxiracetam the best imo is oxiracetam. Noted increase in focus, improved memory, and the racetam fluency improvement. An added bonus is it has a tolerable taste. Too bad it doesn't last very long. I am really dissapointed in prami.
curious why you are dissapointed was it the time, im considering which racetams to buy and scienceguy and health_nutty on the first page for example both really liked pram
