if so, how far did you get and how would you describe the experience? not sure if this is the right forum section.
Anyone tried the Hemisync Gateway experience?

never heard of it until now.
But the head of the Zen Buddhist temple in Vancouver British Columbia saying that "Gateway students can reach meditation states in a week that took [me] 30 years of sitting" is definitely intriguing..

I meditate almost exclusively with audiotapes, and the only hemi-sync product i've really liked is the 10 Step deep relaxation tape; ocean waves are the best! A non-guided version is also available (just ocean sounds and the binaural beat-frequencies), i think it is just called meditation but I can't be certain.
I find the musical tapes always interfere with my ability to focus during meditation, but I will do more research on the gateway experience, and from there i might even try it out.
Nice weather in Vancouver today.

Many years ago I tried the first two waves, in tape format. Wave I (Focus 10) caused a few minor odd physiological sensations. I expected Wave II (Focus 12) to be a quantum leap, but at the time it didn't seem much different...so I gave up.
Decades later, I noticed they'd revamped the series to include Focus 15 and 21 too, so eventually gave in and bought all six waves on CD to try again. All at once this time, so that lack of early results wouldn't tempt me to stop early to save money. And this time, really investing in it rather than just testing it, it changed my life - even before Wave II. I experienced predictive visions, energies in my limbs, auras, time dilations, synchronicities, astral projections, you name it. I'd also recommend getting hold of some Focus 18 afterwards - treat their "Opening the Heart" CD set as Wave VII.

I have only tried the first part of Wave I and must say I am impressed. The best audio guided meditation I have used so far. I'll keep you updated.

you are welcome..I recently went back and did the first one after being away from it for a couple years (make sure you do them all in order..and even repeat some if you feel the need or if you dose off while doing it). I had a very nice experience with it...shifts in awareness, sorts of visions of light. please update us with what happened for you.
