too late my adrenal glands already burnt out .

Why did they burn out? Something related to Piracetam or completely unrelated?

coffee is not an adaptogen. try rhodiola rosea or eleuthero or schisandra berries. all are pretty potent adaptogens with many good health properties.

coffee(all caffeine for that matter) does mix very well with piracetam. for me it is very euphoric

Are you sure about that? Why isn't it more common knowledge in these circles?
What would be good sources for adrenal support? Is it safe to take Potassium supplements, even if you have supposedly normal levels?

ive never ever heard you have to take potassium.

things for adrenal support are: diet, exercise, meditation, adaptogens (rhodiola, schisandra, ashwagandha, eleuthero, ginseng, etc)

Why i brain so easily damaged by any substance ,i think this thread give a lot of information that little MSG can have very great effect on brain .

I occasionally eat MSG and sometime i get very annoying if too much just depress my mood ,but little i have more dopamine release by glutamate surge .

so what the point of this tread mean if i get easily excite mean need to take a break from piracetam and take ashwagandha ?

Or simply dose just too much for me should stick to 1mg ! but no blood flow or oxygen uptake notice ,mean not all benefit .

really boring frequency select wrong word ,normal i use to function fine before piracetam , very disappointed blame my health that not function well on piracetam ,but it used to give me great effect first .

Pottasium is released when piracetam exerts its function. This effect in turn releases glutamate. This glutamate is then converted into gaba which is why some people report reduced levels of anxiety while on piracetam. Perhaps just eating bananas isnt strong enough. Glutamate appears not to work as others have stated in this thread. So perhaps there are vitamins or chemicals that will raised brain levels of pottasium.

So while using piracetam we should also take calcium + potassium supplements, MSG and fludrocortisone?

A search on wiki says that fludrocortisone prevents cerebral salt wasting. Thats the perfect chemical assuming its efficacy is great!
I would say yes to potassium supplements its just I dont know how strong potassium supplements are.

Do you drink a lot of coffee?
Excessive caffeine consumption is a common cause of adrenal fatigue.

Just recently start to see how it work to me for energy

but not help much for energy and further make more problem by induce insomnia sleep problem .

right now i had stop coffee will buy some cocoa powder and see will it help me .

i take extra B6 not sure i'm deficient but hope it can help piracetam irritability issue by help convert glutamate to gaba when potassium release .

will see my symptom get better or not .

A link to why piracetam doesn't work on everyone. You MUST have a functional adrenal gland (not "drained")! http://www.neurobrai...k-for-some.html
A study showed that if rats didn't have adrenal glands, they didn't benefit from piracetam.

Getting fludrocortisone is very hard though, unless you have adrenal fatigue in the first place. At least in Norway. What's the probability of having adrenal insufficiency at age 19?

So we need as much as glutamate for piracetam to work at full potential by inhibit gaba conversion or gaba gaba antagonist) ?

How about zinc is it potent enough for gaba antagonist alternative to Dihydromyricetin ?

msg +calcium + gaba antagonist + alcar + choline look promissing please try .

Zinc is also an nmda antagonist so no.
The adrenal support is also very important and for some people it is a must. Ive done research and supplementing with potassium is only unnecessary if people are malnurished.

Nootropix why don't you just stop taking piracetam. You've been having issues for a long time now. Why not just take a good long break. Like 3 months. Get your diet and health going good and then try it again.

I highly doubt there will be a magic supplement to make piracetam work great for everyone. Our brains while very similiar are all Very different and even with a balance of everything that is needed it still may not work the same. While there are tons of studies on piracetam the mechanism of action still isn't completely understood

I agree with joelski28, you should probably take a break. I think everyone (including me) should try supplementing with calcium, MSG, sea salt (potassium, sodium) and fludrocortisone if piracetam doesn't work. Let's try get a definitive answer whether this combination works or not.

Also try pregnenolone. It will even upregulate gaba receptors.

I think I'm going to buy some pregnenolone (found it very cheap on Amazon) instead of going through the hassle for fludrocortisone. I think it's also positive that I've started getting some brain fog. At least something is going on.

Pottasium helps stimulate adrenals but probably only small amounts. Natural herbs stimulate them greatly.

Hi Everyone I wonder if you can help me?!

I have been taking Piracetam for just over three weeks, and I also have Choline Bitartrate, Fish oil capsules, Calcium tablets.

I take 2g Piracetam, 1g Choline, 2g fish oil, all twice a day, but haven't started taking any calcium yet.

My question is: Am I supposed to pre-load Choline before I take piracetam?, or take at the same time?.

And do I take the Fish oil, Calcium tablets, with Piracetam or before it/after it?.

I'm just not sure what order I should be taking them in to maximise benefits.

I'm not sure whether I should take Calcium tablets an hour or two before Piracetam to give them time to dissolve in stomach.

Hope you can help.

Thanks.

Choline really isn't necessary if you don't get headaches from the piracetam, and your diet has choline in it. Also piracetam is water soluble, so fish oil isn't necessary for that sake. Also there's no reason to post the same post in multiple threads.
