Piracetam tastes like sugar for me.
It was impossible to get it down a few month ago, but after a few kg of this stuff your body gets used to it.
Colors were more vivid only a few days, way back when I started. I could never get this effect back again. Piracetam works with adrenals in some strange way.
I feel that it's like a nitro for a car. You will go fast but not for too long. So now I'm more careful with the stuff. Last time I used it with choline/inositol pills and
I did get the best results so far. Nothing exceptional, just an overall clarity of mind and satisfaction with life. Piracetam is a double-edged sword. It can cut some useful stuff too, believe me. I saw life/people differently while on it. I'll try to add calcium & alcar in the future. We'll see how it goes.
P.S. I did went manic for a day or two, but I didn't supplement choline back then. Nice feeling btw. I liked the experience afterwards, when I reflected on it. But it's nothing to aim for if you want a normal life.

Really if Piracetam tastes like sugar then maybe I dident get piracetam, mine is salty and really nasty .....

Nasty I can confirm but salty? Not mine.

Piracetam is bitter, but if you neck it (I take 40gms per day) it ok, just wash it down and grow a pair :-)

I dont seem to get much of a responce at lower levels after taking Piracetam for around 2 months

I have tested varying levels from low to 30gms with minimal effect

After just 2 days of taking 40gms I am feeling more. but its early days to comment fully on the effects

I should note I weigh in at around 18 stone

Piracetam was never "salty" in my experience. Had a slightly bitter taste, but with a twinge of sweetness. I wouldn't say it tastes like artificial sweetener... I'd say it tastes like it's flavored with a small amount of artificial sweetener.

You can chew tramadol pills without puking? That's pretty hard-core... those are nasty.

ok yesterday i took 5g twice, and today i tried 10g in morning and 3g evening..

i'm not sure if i'm experiencing the effects of it O_o

anyways 3 days ago the stuff tasted horrible, today wasn't so bad

try holding it in your mouth for like 1 minute then swallow it, that way your tongue gets used to taste, taste for me lost its bitterness and i only sense a bit of it..

I restarted Piracetam about 3 days ago.

My current regimen:
- 4000mg piracetam (5 pills a 800mg) upon awakening
- 3 grams of fish-oil (high concentration)
- 1600mg piracetam afternoon (5+ hours after awakening)
- 3 grams of D-aspartic acid
- 25mg zinc pre-bed
- 2000IU vitamin D

I get a drop in energy around 5 hours after dosing, but it's getting less noticeable day after day. Piracetam is a wonderful molecule that makes everything work better for me. I suddenly have motivation to get going in the morning, to work on school work and generally have a much more positive outlook on life.

Hopefully I'll be able to maintain it this time. I stopped it for foolish reasons, and realized how much it did help when I came off it. The grass is always greener... as they say.

k so after 1 week of taking it I think i'm going to stick with 1g 2x or 3x day.. The effect i get from it is that my brain kind of has refreshing cold feeling, and i could control my thoughts in a more relaxing matter.. if that makes any sense lol, more focused at gym too :D

Has anyone with an anxiety disorder such as GAD, ever tried Piracetam? If so did it worsen or alleviate anxiety in your case?

I have SAD, and suffer from panic attacks, but the panic attacks usually happen when I'm public speaking. I take propranolol for that. I use piracetam and, in conjuction with other supplements, find that it significantly reduces my anxiety. I cant testify for piracetam alone, but when used with supps like ashwagandha, omega 3's, a good multi and healthy diet, plus a green superfood product, it reduces my anxiety.

However, if I take too much piracetam (more than 9g) and too much choline (more than 1.5 grams) then I feel really down, and not very talkative.

Thanks Orajel, good to know, I've got some piracetam scheduled to arrive any day now, I'll start off slow and work my way up, would be cool if it reduces my daily anxiety like it has for you.

I read so many articles about the toxicity of Glutamic acid. So i am a bit worried about supplementing with this stuff.
Can anybody provide links about the toxicity of low dosage glutamic acid?

I wouldn't risk it. The information in this thread comes from a discredited source and was based on a fabricated study that never happened. Just look at the Wikipedia page on glutamic acid for information on excitoxicity.

The more moderate approach would be to look at the list of foods that contain large amounts of Glutamic Acid and try eating a moderate amount of one of them (say Marmite (1960mg/100g) in my case, but maybe that's just for anglophiles) and see for yourself it helps - list here: http://en.wikipedia....ration_in_foods

Despite the source being discredited the theory was not complete junk and quite a few people tried it and responded well, I don't see adding a small amount of Glutamic Acid as being especially radical or dangerous, remember that "thirty to 35% of the protein in wheat is glutamic acid" (source). It will hardly kill ya ;) (although the free form is well established to cause excitatory toxicity if taken in higher doses.. as pointed out earlier in this thread)

So I don't understand why hyperspace put so much effort into this thread?

It couldn't be just a manufacturer pushing wares, because... the time it took them to write this isn't worth the 1 in a 1000 probability of an extra sale.

All comments of this sort that aren't related to piracetam should be directed HERE. Thanks!

Hi guys,

So i read that aspirin is an anti-cancer drug, but then again it is a blood thinner.

Piracetam is a mild blood thinner so my question is if it is safe to also take in aspirin once a day?

Oh, normally I take just 2.4g of Piracetam.

Thanks
