If we wanted to submit a proposal to petridish, kickstarter, or both, or start up curestarter, perhaps this could be a project worth funding? http://www.longecity...post__p__514083 More rat studies (and PALS monitoring) on lipofullerenes.

These have to be mainstream projects, ones that aim to cure (or find out more about) particular age-related diseases. Otherwise, you won't get support. AFAIK, many age-related diseases are not yet fully understood, and such projects could help deepen our understanding of aging, which in turn should open more ways to cure each age-related disease.

There should be plenty of costs associated with this right? Or is it just fullerene, mice, and time? Somebody has already volunteered to supply C60 olive oil at cost. Once the proposal is drawn up then what do you all say (tentatively for now) to setting it up through Petridish or Kickstarter?

This can be a good foot in the door to helping us get some more experience and insight with these kinds of places. This here was inspiring, a Kickstarter campaign run through the Transhuman communities that hit its $70,000 target goal on time.

CrowdCure is the latest player in crowd-funded medical research.

Biofunder now has a website.

I purchased the domain name "curestarter.org" for 2 years. It is about to lapse. Anyone want to pursue this yet?

I would let it lapse. There are several groups working on this idea. Crowdcure is immortalist-friendly.
