Perhaps Oxi is a better choice for me? Like you, I notice no benefit from piracetam other than sleepiness at higher dosages.

I'm assuming you're getting awesome results from Prami and Ani combined? I am taking Prami and my experience has left me questioning if racetams are really for me. After a month of continual Pramiracetam dosage I find that my verbal recall and speaking abilities seem to be stymied which is the opposite of what I was expecting it to do. I am taking it with 300mg Alpha GPC.
Perhaps Oxi is a better choice for me? Like you, I notice no benefit from piracetam other than sleepiness at higher dosages.
Pram has the most immediately noticeable effects of increased motivation and self confidence. Aniracetam further improves my memory (but it is not something I notice right away). Piracetam makes me have weird side effects from irritability to anxiety. The irritability was improved by l-glutamic acid, but I would still get anxiety or feel burnt out mentally. Oxiracetam is a bit like Pram. It is also nice, but it takes more to have the same effect, thus making it less cost effective than Pram.
You are taking a very high dose of Pram. I would try dual-n-back with after varying doses of Pram (0mg, 100mg, 300mg, 500mg). Take the test 30 minutes after the dose. See if you notice any consistent results from the dose. This is a better test than how you "feel".

lithium orotate sounds pretty interesting. In this thread, the dosage for lithium orotate ranges from 1-120 mg. quite a spread. what's an effective but safe dosage to promote neurogenesis?
I too tried to find this out without any luck. I like my 5mg of elemental lithium dose every night (I think that is around 100mg of lithium orotate).

Benefits: NAD/NAD+ ratio, neurogenesis
Side effects for me: Slight increase in libido
ALCAR: 2 grams split into 2 doses
Benefits: increases aCh, neurogenesis
Side effects for me: slightly stimulating
Aniracetam: 1g split into 3 doses. Note: I lowered from 2g split 3x a day. At 2g, I was getting slight light headedness that would go away with more choline. However, it took a lot of choline and I ended up just lowering my dose.
Pramiracetam: 250mg in the morning and 250mg in the afternoon. (Lowered morning dose, 500mg seemed like I overdid it).
Side effects: Slight mania during the first few days.
125mg of l-glutamic acid once a day
1g of alpha gpc morning
Lithium: ~1mg at night from lithium orotate
Benefits: Mood, decreased anxiety, neurogenesis
Side effects: Sleepy and unmotivated the next day if I take more. (I lowered from 5mg to 1mg because ScienceGuy pointed out lithium can have anti-nootropic effects).
Bacopa: 500mg of Bacopin 20% extract at night
Benefits: Memory
Side effects: Initally sleepy and unmotivated the next day if I take 500mg or more.
Now my tolerance for Bacopa is increasing. I've upped this to 300mg during the day and 500mg at night.
Ashwagandha 7%: 500mg at night, 500mg split into 3 doses during the day.
Benefits: Stimulates NGF, reduces stress
Fish Oil: 2g morning and 2g again at night of concentrate yielding 3g of omega 3's
Benefits: Mood, neurogenesis, cardiovascular health
Side effects: None
Gingko Biloba 24/6: 250mg twice a day.
Benefits: Increased blood flow to the brain, supposed synergy with other noots.
Side effects: None
Phosphatidyl Serine: 100mg at night
Benefits: Neurogenesis, reduce cortisol, memory
Side effects: None
Notes: Initially I thought this was doing great things, but now it seems like it might have been placebo.
Other supplements:
Multi
Vitamin D 2000iu
vitamin K2 mk7 100mcg
Pom40p pomegranate extract
Notes:
Since starting Aniracetam, it seems like I can't get enough ACh precursors. Alpha-gpc or CDP-choline with ALCAR used to give me wicked ACh headaches. Now I can take either one (or both) with NO ACh headache. In fact, I had to lower the dose of Ani so I wouldn't get light headed from lack of ACh (taking more choline solved light headedness).

I'm a computer engineer, in my mid thirties, healthy overall. I've had some mild to moderate anxiety issues my whole life. Recently I've had some mild depression and motiviation issues.
Subjective and mood:
I feel more confident, my anxiety is almost non-existant, and my mood is much improved. These three areas improved dramatically.
Motivation and concentration
Pramiracetam has dramatically improved my motivation. Aniracetam helps with focus. Aniracetam also makes tasks that I don't want to do not so bad.
Memory:
Aniracetam probably had the biggest improvement on my memory (although Pram also helped). My memory was probably only slightly above average, and now I find it much easier to remember peoples names that I just met. Answers that I didn't even realized I knew come flying out without hesitation.
Problem solving:
Programming and visualizing complex processor scenerios has become easier. It is also easier for me explaining how things work to others (mentoring has become easier).
Since tweaking my stack I've noticed the following:
1) Even more stress reduction with the addition of Ashwagandha
2) Lowering Aniracetam dosage has eliminated the need for excessive choline precursors (although I find I still need a lot).
More is not better!

Are you give Piracetam up ?
Why l-glutamic acid still there in stack if no Piracetam ?
Sorry for not well grammar ,please apologize if my question/statement feel rude ,i'm not native Eng speaker .

Maybe try inositol instead of msg for irritability.
L-Theanine works pretty well for irritability too.
If Piracetam really deplete L-glutamic acid ,try these in quote supplement like just hide problem instead of solve it .

Thanks, I should update the post. I wrote that when I was trying even lower doses. I just looked it up: I use this tiny scooper which holds 50mg of Lithium Orotate which is 5mg of elemental lithium.

I've switched from Alpha GPC to CDP Choline. On paper Alpha gpc looks slightly better or at least the same, but I actually notice the effect of CDP choline and notice anything with Alpha GPC.

Your stack now in perfect after did remove Piracetam out ?
What about L-Glutamic acid ,any update on your experiment for about irritability ,what you get rid Piracetam out ,if L-Glutamic acid solved irritability problem ?
A lot of member interest in Piracetam ,and you have been on it more than many year s ,why just give it up or you found something and not not need to tell us ? LOL

L-glutamic acid soved the irritibility issue, but Piracetam had other side effects such as causing anxiety or inability to concentrate. I could never pinpoint any positives from it (like I can do with Pram and Ani). At some point I just decided to give up on trying to make it work for me. I'm not holding out on you guys. My stack is all right here.

love your log HN, a question: does your stack help you mostly with analytical comprehension, creative behavior, motivation, etc?
Motiviation and confidence.
i dont want to sterotype you but sometimes i feel when people are over the moon about certain substances it's because it enhances their natural tendencies...
The areas my stack helped most are areas I was weak at before: motivation and confidence.

I'm still trying to find the appropriate dosage.
Currently I'm taking 200mg of 10% Forskolin with 100mg of Luteolin (split into 4 doses).
500mg of 10% was too much and was making me light headed.

p.s. I know I am not adding anything pertinent to this topic, however, I did take 40 grams of piracetam in one day the other day if anyone is interested ?

Will be interested to read further on your forskolin and PS determinations. Also, what are your thoughts on lactoferrin and/or melatonin supplementation, if these have been of interest?

Nice log, HN. These reviews are a big help, since I'm looking for very similar results with mitigating anxiety and increasing confidence.

I'm going to pause my Aniracetam supplemention until I straighten out my forskolin / luteolin combo. I think it has promise, it is just easy to overdo it.
I take low dose (1mg) melatonin for a sleep aid as needed. I done any research on lactoferrin.

Lexapro
nac
Aniracetam
Cod liver oil
Glutamine
Stimulant
Im gonna replace nac with either curcumin or resveratrol and my next additions will likely be methylene blue; pramiracetam and alcar; like in your case ani works for focus but i still have trouble with motivation so im looking forward to the addition of prami. Im also interested in mirtazepine for sleep. I also want to replace glutamine with l glutamic acid and cod liver oil with fish oil for higher levels of omega3.

How does methylene blue synergize with aniracetam and pramiracetam? When i add more stuff our stacks would like fairly simular so im curious for your results.
It synergizes well because it has a seperate mechanism of action. Let me know what you think.
