Mirtazapine has made me gain about 5kg in a week so I've had to stop taking it.
Why does it make you fat? Does it make you eat more? Reduce metabolism?

5HT2C receptor involved in appetite regulation.
Additionally, its H1 Receptor antagonism and implicated sedation is not conducive to physical activity.
