Kind of interesting herb.. took 1 capsule yesterday and two today.  Definitely a calming feeling, slightly dulling.. A little bit similar to smoking small amounts of weed i would say. Does not give any drive whatsoever. Does seem to help a bit for social situations. Was hoping to get horny, but it seems to have the opposite effect or just dulling.

Mood is good/neutral, bet it can be used to even out "spikes" in mood.

Not sure i would like to try more than 2 capsules, i think it would make me feel dumb/dull and it find that effect slightly scary when it happens from some herbs or nootropics, it's like its shifting most activity to the right side of the brain or something.

Edit: yeah, definitely improved mood on this, subtle but yes i feel a bit euphoric, more so than yesterday on 1 capsule.

absolutely i think because you are clean it affects you more profoundly. when i was clean, ill get affected by everything like simple vitamin c to senna which is a lexative, i honestly thought it was a nootropic i felt so clear minded. but that was when i didnt do drugs for a year or so.

anyway, as i have mentioned this many times before, ashwagandha has a strong and nasty tolerance curve which will quickly make it obsolete. i think you should probably take time off every 1-2 weeks and use it only few days for any good effect. even in my state, i can still get some feeling from it if i use it once or twice a week. its just not a very reliable stuff long term and tolerance and very short half life, a huge bitch

I haven't used it in a while. It doesn't seem to knock me out anymore, just makes me produce a lot of testosterone. Which is nice but incredibly horny and producing a ton of semen is not good for me (I live just outside a city but in isolation, don't have (or want) any friends and I don't have sex either, and I am constantly trying to quit porn / masturbation).

If one reads up its effects, it seems to be basically a mini-SSRI, with some vitamin-like anti-oxidant effects... I didn't feel any benefits from it.

I had almost completely forgotten about this herb. But i see i have even commented on it in this thread. I've started using it regularly together with Taurine (by pure coincidence, but i see now in the thread that this can be beneficial!)

I have two different "versions" of it, KSM66 and Sensoril. They both work extremely well, better than before (could be because of my Tarurine use). Sensoril i can sleep on, KSM66 - nope, i tried once, i feel asleep, woke up due to short wave of euphoria, feel asleep again,  short wave of euphoria again which woke me up - repeat. No, had to go up and wait out the effect even though i was extremely tired at the time and just wanted to sleep.

Benefits that i experience:

1) Mood boost. Definitely improved, no doubt. I've previously used St. Johns wort for almost 20 years  to combat lack of motivation and depression with great result, though SJW has some side effects that i don't like so i've quit it - SJW can really add anxiety sometimes, it can make me more depressed at times too, it's unpredictable, and it also adds some really bad discomfort in my ankles (an odd thing, but i've seen at least one other person with that exact side effect when i googled some years ago).

2) Better confidence, less worried about stuff. Tested in practice.

3) Better sex drive. I see in my other comment that i experienced a loss, interesting! Not any more, notice quite a nice effect to say the least. Is this due to the addition of Taurine perhaps?

4) Better focus. More interested in stuff so focus is better, this is probably partially due to mood boost, but there seems to be something else too. This is not something you notice at all until you involve yourself in something, you quickly realize "wow, this is so interesting / fun!"

I'd go as far as saying it's the best medical herb i've ever tried, i've tried ALL the common ones, different brands and varieties (if there are any), and many not so common herbs and drugs as well.

For me the effect starts with me getting tired, wanting to sleep, then i usually lay down on the bed for 5-10 minutes and then the energizing effect will come all of a sudden. 1 capsule of 250 mg is enough, but that effect will not last for an entire day, i have to refill at least once.

I do wonder if the effect will wear off though... most likely it will. It's definitely something i want to use every day from now on, but i'll try to take some breaks i guess..

Another historical Nootropic and a member of the Adaptogen family of natural performance enhancers which empower Biohackers to live vigorously.

Ashwagandha is the anxiolytic Adaptogen, all of the Adaptogens make your body better at handling stress but Ashwagandha is probably the best. If you have a problem with stress or anxiety Ashwagandha is for you!

In fact, a lot of people don't realize that they have a problem with chronic stress and when they do Ashwagandha or anxiolytic Nootropics they finally get to experience a clear mind and it's really empowering for them. A lot of Entrepreneurs like Ashwagandha because Entrepreneurs are naturally a lot of times quite high-strung people, susceptible to workaholism and they tend to just be stressed all the time.
