Does anyone know how to interpret the BASF Sunscreen Simulator? I understand the critical wavelength, PPD, etc. What's confusing to me are the extinction and transmission graphs. I am not sure what they each mean and what they represent. I have melasma and am trying to make good choices with sunscreen. I'm looking for one that provides excellent protection in the UVA1 range. If I understood the graphs, I think I could make a more educated choice and compare the ones I have narrowed down. Thanks!
