Hi does anyone know what will happen if you take noopept and have high blood pressure. Also will this help repair or reverse the effects of long term marijuana usage

I know of no relation whatsoever between noopept and hypertension. Nevertheless, I will tell you that ubiquinol, taurine, magnesium, and arginine, in good doses, among other things seem to help a little with hypertension.

As for reversing marijuana induced brain damage or for reversing brain fog, I suppose you can try Noopept, but I don't think you'd want to rely on it alone, not by a long shot. Consider piracetam too. Please look for threads on the highlighted terms.

It says right on Noopept.com that people with a certain form of preexisting hypertension may experience a rise in blood pressure.

The clinical trial comparing piracetam to Noopept that I posted a while back had subjects withdrawing from the study due to increased blood pressure from Noopept.

I'm on my phone right now so can't post those links right now but will when I get to my laptop later in the week.

I think it would be prudent to regularly monitor your blood pressure while taking Noopept. Especially if you already have high blood pressure.

From my Google translated reading of http://www.noopept.ru/faq/, only persons with severe and unmedicated hypertension may observe a rise. There is no reason for most people to have uncontrolled hypertension.

Yes, monitoring blood pressure is prudent for everyone, irrespective of Noopept. Personally I haven't noticed any change from Noopept. Thanks for the warning reminder.

There are never any simple answers. You'll probably have to try and see what works. Noopept may be stronger and you can definitely give it a try, but it's tough for me to say if it's a full replacement for piracetam. They are different. At a later time you can also look into good doses of caffeine, other racetams, citicoline 1g, nicotine patches 7mg, bacopa, vinpocetine 30mg, fish oil 5g, curcumin 1-2g, magnesium, DMAE (short term), etc. -- the list is endless. I'm just guessing here, and I really don't know what might work best for you. Personally, I too rely on my supplements to feel cogent. I have no further comments in this regard. Please report back after you've tried Noopept for a few months.

Don't know if this is the best place to post this, but I am thinking of trying out noopept and JGSupplements (UK seller) are now
selling it very cheaply:

http://www.jgsupplements.com/noopept/

Has anyone had experience with the 'Mind Nutrition' brand at all? Or specifically with noopept?

Thanks.

Yes, I've got good experiences with Mind Nutrition. Their packaging and delivery is very good, e.g. their capsules all have a different color (handy when on the road and putting a stack in one bottle).

Haven't tried their noopept though. My guess is it will be ok as well. I might sound like I am hyping them, but they really are my preferred vendor.

I experienced a head tingling sensation within 20 minutes. It may take longer for others though. I suggest you try studying and see if your focus / learning abilities has improved in any way.

You can get pira from docsimon anyways

Good to see that they have noopept caps now too, sure when you order a gram of powder from ebay it costs you half the price but I have been always content mindnutrition's products.
And I would trust them more than some ebay seller.

AFAIK piracetam is a prescription drug. And I agree with the previous post, Mindnutrition is pretty decent (as for price), given their quality. Peace of mind is worth something as well!

I haven't tried Mind Nutrition's noopept either, and doesn't look like I'll be able to either: http://www.mindnutri....com/?s=noopept - it doesn't seem to exist on their site?!

Yes.. but where will you order it from? As I showed in my post above Mind Nutrition does NOT actually sell Noopept, unless you're referencing another vendor?

I have purchased 5g of Noopept from Amazon by the name of JTMON. The one specifically that I bought was

http://www.amazon.co...=A3IMA2K9C13JZC

Sounds like a sketchy name but it is the real deal.

Pics below.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^What you get. Only 4 doses have been taken.

The little measuring spoon holds about 12-15mg of the stuff, which is nice of them to include.
They sent me a little paper saying to give them good feedback so they can get noticed, I would take a picture but I lost it.

So far, it works! I put 2 micro-spoonfuls of it into my mouth, which tasted like nothing, execpt THE MOST BITTER SUBSTANCE EVER!!!!!
Gave it 20 minutes or so and I felt wide awake, not negitave at all. Music sounds more alive, especially dubstep. Waiting to go to school cus it's MLK weekend.

Been using noopept - 10mg - along with nefiracetam for the past 9 days and I must say that I very impressed with the effects of noopept.

I do have slightly elevated blood pressure, but have noticed no increase whilst taking noopept. Noopept sourced from Mind Nutrition in UK.

How does it work added to nefiracetam in your experience?

Noopept is my favourite nootropic

Where did you buy your noopept?

I'm glad it's working for now. Don't forget to keep posting if you keep using it as it would be very nice to have some long term experience

Noopept is my favourite nootropic, and I've tried a lot of them! But I've noticed especially after using noopept daily for several months (a little less than half a year), a lot more good effects than simply the cognitive enhancing effect I sought after when first starting.

So, thought about this? Is someone else having profound long term effects and thinking that they have finally found THE nootropic for them?

You've inspired me to try this longer term this time around . My initial trial of (10mg twice a day) only lasted a month until my supply of pills ran out. The pills were a bit pricey, but with bulk powder it is very cost effective.

I'll report back.

You mean 150 (sys) / 99 (dia). This qualifies as Stage 1 Hypertension and musn't go untreated, however this is done. What was your BP before you took noopept? Without knowing this, it is not possible to estimate the effect that noopept possibly had. I suggest purchasing and regularly using a blood pressure monitor at home. If you get one right away, you may be able to plot a trend over the next few weeks of your daily change in BP. Always measure at about the same time each day in the same setting. The next time I restart noopept, I may be able to look for a trend as well. By the way, I wonder if you had any change in your resting heart rate (HR) too.
