Just a quick update.

I did recieve Carbon's bottle here in Miami pretty quickly, however Vaughter's oil did take quite a while because of the USPS. Almost two weeks.

Since I have them both, I will be doing reviews on them this week.

Cheers
A

FWIW ...

Ordered each product on a Friday, shipped to Dallas Tx.

That next Monday (4 days later) I received the CarbonC60 oil (left in photo), and the SES C60 99.95% product (right in photo).

I received the C60antiaging (SV) oil (middle in photo) about 3 weeks later -- not too bad I guess. Though it was ordered from a UK company, it was actually shipped from the Czech Republic.

The CarbonC60 tastes and feels "thicker" while the SV oil tastes much "lighter," most likely due to the different types of olive oil used.

The CarbonC60 product provides a 1ml needle-less syringe tube for dosing, but this broke down with the rubber bulb separating from the plunger after about two weeks of use. Hard to find another way of measuring after this syringe broke apart. I would suggest a larger size, and more heavy duty, syringe shipped with this product.

On the other hand, the SV oil has a built-in dropper pipette (note the red bulb in the photo), but it has no markings or measurement indications on it. It would be helpful if it would have mL markings on the glass tube, since you have no real way to know what your dose is.

Would an alternative (or stopgap) approach be to use kitchen measuring spoons to dole out dosages? A full tablespoon contains 15 ml., a full teaspoon provides 5 ml., a half-teaspoon affords 2½ ml., and so forth. You can lick the spoon or scrape it "clean" with the food with which you're taking it to insure that you're getting all of your planned dosage.

Again (I've raised this issue before), I would think a rough estimation of dosage would be quite close enough, given we have no idea what kind of dose is optimal.

I found a cool video showing the mixing of c60 in olive oil. One can see that the c60 is denser.

It doesn't give a good idea of how long it takes to dissolve though. I am guessing one has to mix it for days, to get it to dissolve.

Has anyone else noticed any excessive mold growth in their C60 solutions from Sarah Vaughter's c60antiaging.com ???

I noticed it this morning in the dropper, and further examination in the bottle also revealed many separate clouds of mold floating about. I poured some in the sink, and it's a dark black green mold.

I've only been using this bottle for about 2 weeks now, after finishing another bottle from the California company. The Vaughter bottle took 3 weeks to get to the USA from the Czech Republic, then sitting in a dark cabinet here for 2 weeks before I started using it over the following next 2 weeks ... until today.

I've been very careful not to contaminate the bottle, and placing the dropper contents on a new plastic spoon each time I use it, and not touching the dropper itself to the spoon or myself. I guess some airborne contaminates could be the cause, but the mold seems excessive for just two weeks. I wonder what the mold's lifeline is now? :) A new super mold?

But I'm curious if anyone has noticed the same mold growth in theirs or had a chance to look ???

First I've heard of it, but I guess it's not surprising- olive oil is food, and mold grows on food. This makes me worry a little about how sloppy I've been with my little bottle of commercial c60-oo. I'll be more careful with my homemade material. Sarah is a pretty good businesswoman, from what I've seen. I bet she'd give you a fresh bottle.

I've had no such problem with Vaughters product, two bottles, and I took no precautions to prevent contamination.

When you open the bottle to use product, it is possible even a single mold spore could contaminate the bottle. Unlikely, but possible. For that matter, I've never had mold in any olive oil I use, nor the sometimes not very well cleaned utensils that contact it.

Perhaps if you ate the mold you would live longer? Blue cheese is not harmful, may actually be good for you. Start by feeding it to pet mice. (I am not goofing on you, i am half serious.)

Yeap, I have two DIY 500ml bottles of olive oil dissolving SES C60 right now. In the meantime, I went ahead and ordered another commercial bottle from carbon60oliveoil.com since their shipping was so fast.

I thought the mold in the c60antiaging.com bottle was excessive for just the 2 weeks since I've unsealed the bottle. I never left it open other than the time to extract the olive oil. I wish I had looked at the bottle closer before I opened it to see if the mold was already there or if it was a result of some contamination over the last 2 weeks. I'll contact Vaughter to see if they've had any similar reports.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pet mice to feed the contaminated olive oil to -- maybe I'll just wait to see how long the mold takes to evolve to the point that it can open the bottle cap on its own? :|?

Just a follow up ... I responded with Sarah regarding the mold in my bottle of C60, and she wrote back within the same hour on the same day. She has also rectified the problem on my side of things by replacing the bottle with two new additional bottles of C60-oo that I received today, and refunding my initial purchase.

She was just as concerned about the mold as I was, and in one of her correspondences that we had, she stated:

"We will make sure that this can't happen anymore in the future by amending our production process (stirring under an inert atmosphere and sterilization of the bottles). We now have suufienct [sic] turnover to warrant the extra expense."

I'm happy with her attention to this matter, and feel her product is probably better now because of it.

I want to buy some more, previously I used the SV one and it did seem to have effects.

carbon60's C60 who has ordered it from outside the USA? it seems they charge $50 for shipping, so I would hope that it is the fastest USPS available.

SV I would order it but I leave Australia in 14 days, I would like to get on some c60 early as I got very sick when I arrived here from Korea on the 25th December. I went from the coldest Korean winter in 45 years, -8c to -15c most days to a 37c Aussie christmas day and it really knocked me around... I can not afford to get sick for another week on returning.

What about revgenetics c60? is there a link to actually buy it? I couldn't find it on the site
