18% increase in lifespan from olive oil alone.

This says a lot about olive oil.

My rat, having finished off 45 mg of C60 in OO without noticing much of anything, is skeptical, at least for the evening, but remains optimistic.

I've been taking this for over a month now, and I cannot point to any obvious effects, apart from the big surprise at the gym - and I am highly trained ( gym 5 - 6 times a week) so any differences are noticeable, and I push myself to my limits. No placebo effect possible, there is not much room for it.

My dosage is variable: I successfully dissolved 5g in 5 litres of olive oil ( a selection of bottles of virgin and extra virgin from various sources. I added 500ml of almond oil, and 250ml of poppy seed oil to the mix, and 150 ml of walnut oil as I had them in the cupboard....).

Of this mix, I take 3 - 4 tablespoons a day, spread over the course of the day....mixed with other foods.

Some days the dose is higher.

I have been dosing this amount of olive oil for some years now, so the effect cannot be put down to olive oil itself. When I started low dosage methylene blue, there was little noticeable effect at the gym. In fact, none of my other supps (alcar, alpha lipoic acid, ecdysteroids) have had an effect I can say I have noticed clearly.

My elbow tendon injury is recovering - I'll be back to working out in a couple of weeks.

No supp I have taken has had the effect of C60......I've never used steroids, the closest I have come is ecdysteroids, which are non androgenic. I have noticed a possible small effect from these, but medoubts........I take them mainly because they reportedly inhibit muscle catabolism when consumed with excess protein, not because they make working out easier.

How have you challenged yourself to test for any possible effect?

I'm speculating that any effect on longevity will not be "felt" or obvious in the short term but only over the long term...and that the healthier you are to start...the less dramatic the improvement in long term health...it's like everything else though...we need to set a good foundation in place to build on...diet and exercise needs to be part of the formula (as is obvious you realize)...but the proof in the pudding so to speak, is 30, 40, or 50 years away for most of us.

It's quite obvious that several people have felt effects over the short term, even dramatic ones over a period of hours, and I can testify to that. But otherwise I agree. If you have relatively healthy mitochondria, then the effects you see will be minimal and hard to discern. If you have a problem that isn't coming from the mitochondira, then it's unlikely that this will help.

It would be helpful if those reporting would include their age, as I suspect that the immediate effects (or non-effects) are age related.

Physical: I'm in week 10/13, second round of P90X, Classic routine, so I basically work out daily, alternating aerobic with resistance exercise. I've notice some improvement since starting C60 OO, but nothing dramatic or exceptional.

Health: Again- some slight improvements, but minor variation that may be just random or due to slow resolution.

Affect: I think I may be more calm, but it's summertime, and the livin' is (relatively) easy.

So, in sum, nothing I could not attribute to either the passage of time, seasonal variations, and/or placebo, so far.

Kudos to whoever organised the C60 threads into the nanotech forums where they most belong. At first I was wondering if the "MAN" imposed a forced removal of information from this website.

Thanks for those videos, Metrodorus..I enjoyed them.

Does anyone have any thoughts on possible hazards (or benefits) resulting from taking methylene blue or CoQ10 after consuming C60? Not that I have taken any C60 yet. I have just been wondering about interactions.

In addition to the chicken experiment, I've got a 40 year old, 60kg "hen", and a 38 year old, 130kg "rooster" also taking the potion. Both are taking 2.5ml of the potion or 1.67mg of the c60 per day. So far both feeling well but nothing to report. The hen is having some blood tests done every month and will report back if anything changes.

Hello,

To anyone testing C60oo here, on animals or yourself, could you post pictures on LongeCity of the solutions you are using? The exact date when you started? Regular elements of your experiment, esp. if it is on animals?

To anyone making C60oo yourself, could you post pictures on LongeCity of the solutions you made? how you made them?

Etc.

Thanks!

I second this request. Please provide as much detail as possible. It would be good to know what species of animal we are dealing with. The age of the animals. What the dosages are. What solution you are using. When was the experiment started. When did it end. It is a rather "loose" effort going on here with the C60oo and if we want any semblance of scientific rigor, we will need at least small bits of data.

Im back in Miami and last night I started a new week of c60oo.

I have to say that after not taking it for a bit, then taking 4/5 cup last night... Well i almost hurled.

I had to take a teaspoon of backing soda afterwards as well, as an antacid.

It makes me think that only serious folks would ever consider downing the oil in one shot.

I guess i am one of the few.

Cheers
A

PS. this morning, i did feel really good after i woke up... Not sure if it was related.

Try it on grilled/toasted baguette slices with a little sea salt -- although I have no idea whether the salt would affect the C60?

Wow! My previous diet was quite low lipid, and the addition of olive oil daily, even in relatively low quantities, is quite a change. I'd have a tough time considering downing a cup! And, I'd expect, given the reports of many who post here about the effects of small doses, that you'd wake up Superman, or at least Captain America!

Hi guys,

Today i took my third 4/5 cup of the week. About 2 or 3 hours later i went to see if my max bench press had changed (for better or worse). I must stress that i have not touched the bench or weights for weeks... And at that time i determined my single max press was 170 lbs.

True, that is not a lot for many folks here... But for me that was ok, since i dont work out... And my best max i remember was 200lbs back in 1996... When i was a cycling on the road quite a bit.

I went in and loaded the bench with:
180lbs... I lifted it.
Then..
195lbs... I lifted it

Then 205lbs... and i lifted it with difficulty... But i totally felt astonsihed when it was up over my head...

No way i am Captain America (and i wish i had his abs instead of my gut), but my personal limit i once had, was overcome today... Without training.

I am not sure if i should attribute it to the C60oo, but i really have no other explanation for this... I felt totally normal before the lifting, so this was a complete surprise.

I had my son take a video of the event on my phone, so that i can keep it and show my family... But i am a bit embarrassed showing it publicly cause of my gut and my hair.. Hahaha... But at least i have it so that i can personaly see that it was not just my imagination...

Its certainly possible that something is happening.

A

Im checking in again, my previous info is below, along with possible effects.

FYI: i havent taken C60 since my last post, but some of the possible effects still seem to exist:

- Increased sex drive?
Yes, still apparent.

- Reduction in stress?
Not sure, i am very relaxed however it may be related to my trip to see the awesome sequoias recently. The drive was about 6 hours from LAX but it seemed easy... which is different than my 4 hour trip to Orlando from Miami before the C60... and exhausting.

-Better skin?
Hmmm.. still debatable.

No change in hair from my small receding areas. Smelly armpits, yes it happened when i was taking C60... but they are normal now.

Tomorrow i will be arriving back in Miami, and starting a new week of C60/OO along with some weight lifting during the same week to see what kind of strength gains are seen. If i do feel some major changes after the week is over, i will probably schedule another Biophysical250.

Cheers
A

My information:
======================================================================
Name: Anthony Loera (Yes that is my real name!)
Occupation: Office worker (mostly in front of computer)
Residence: Miami, mostly hot year round.
Age: 40 (Will be 41 in August)
Weight: 190lbs (I actually went up when drinking the OO, Maybe it will go down when I am not)
My Health Tests Before C60 (Biophysical 250: They are posted here) I can get ya a discount on one, if you want it.
My Health Tests After C60 TBD after I think something is really happening...
C60 Dose: (130mg - 150mg Daily in OO) about 4/5 a cup of OO daiily (or 12.8 tablespoons daily)
Time frame: 7 days so far (I figure I would now try once a week per the Baati study, but may try a second week daily doses again)
Smoke? Never, unless its a Cuban and only on a special occasion (So far only about 4 cubans in my life)
Drink? Occasionally. But I don't like beer too much, I prefer Pinot Grigio, Don Julio 1942, Wine, Whiskey Sour, Margaritas, Bloody Marys.
Exercise? Rarely, I am trying... but I would say I can't nail down a regular schedule.
Max Bench Press: 170lbs, at least that was before C60. I suppose I should work out on weights to see if this increases after C60.
Hair: Black, and It looks good, but I do notice a light receding. If hair grows in the small receding areas, I will definitely know it. I see no changes with C60.

======================================================================

Possible effects noticed:

======================================================================
Personal Caveat: I would say these might be placebo at this time... give me a few weeks before I can say otherwise.

- Increased Sex Drive?
I am not sure if it's an increase in sex drive, or a change in perception of previous females
that I wasn't attracted to prior to C60 (ie. Jennifer Anniston) I have ALWAYS thought she was
so darn plain, and maybe she still is. Do I think she is as attractive as say....
a young Sade, Jennifer Connely, or Adriana Lima? Nope, but my perception has changed recently.

- Better skin?
It looks like my skin pores are smaller after using it topically. Again, this is debatable.

- Reduction in stress?
A couple things happened toward the last part of my treatment, which normally would have me
pulling my hair out, losing sleep, etc... it didn't happen. I actually was pretty calm, during it all.
Which surprised the heck out of me.

======================================================================

Ok, I think I have established some personal data that we can compare again, in the future.

Cheers
A

I bet you'd have the same good effects if you spread the 4/5 cup over 24 hours, or even a couple days. I just can't think of any mechanism whereby a huge bolus would be important. OTOH, I think you are the only one to exactly replicate the Baati rat dose, without allometric scaling. Congrats on the huge lifts, BTW. While it's possible that there's a placebo component to this, the more people that report it, the more it seems real.

I am about to take my 4th dose today... nothing out of the ordinary, however my muscles do feel sore because of yesterday's 205 pound lift.

I am wondering: Do you guys think that instead of increasing muscle mass, that it may have increased adrenaline ... that may have helped me lift the weights? If so, maybe it could even be a placebo effect. I guess time will tell.

But please use some caution. Bench press is one of the most dangerous movements, especially for untrained people. Consider using less weight and more reps and lookup some form information on the web to make sure you stay healthy bro! I gave up bench long ago due to this and use dumbbells for flat bench press instead. It's quite a bit harder, but much more forgiving on the slight differences in shoulder positioning.

While its interesting to see strength increases similar to what people report for creatine and other enhancement strategies, I'm more curious about body composition. I can easily gain strength if I pay no attention to body fat being accumulated. Any change in body fat percentage?

Still no side effect from the large dose you are taking (this is good news so far!).

Hi Zorba,

I got a Jones Freedom Bodycraft machine recently, because i was concerned about lifting... Otherwise i probably wouldnt have tried a max single rep.

No side effects that i can see so far...fat percent has remained the same.

I know that people that starve themselves (anorexia) is performing alot better physically in the beginning. Then later they crash, they trigger some kind of survival instinct, you get less nutrigen soo body tries to make you stronger soo one can catch some food(hunting down an animal, cavemen as we all are still...)

But think that is because increased production of endorfins, feel generally more satisfied these days after C60?

Interesting, so perhaps C60 is using up the enzymes responsible for metabolising caffeine?

Unlikely. It probably has something to do with cellular energy metabolism.

Fullerene and caffeine interaction may have something to do this this, or something along these lines:

http://pubs.acs.org/....1021/cn200016q

" Results demonstrated that SK-N-MC cells endogenously express adenosine receptors. Fullerene exposure of these cells did not affect cell viability measured by MTT reduction assay. However, adenosine A1 and A2A receptors were both increased in SK-N-MC cells after treatment. These results suggest for the first time the modulation of adenosine receptors after C60 fullerenes exposure."

"Inside the body caffeine acts through several mechanisms, but its most important effect is to counteract adenosine "
