Not sure, we're focusing on PRL-8-53. PRL-8-147 hasn't been tested on humans yet.

I am not sure what the reference to PRL 147 has to do with it, redan. I know we're talking re 53 and the study was re 53. The note i was referring to was at the bottom of the last page of the full text and reads:

"NOTE ADDED IN PROOF
Following completion of this study it was found that the particular
lot of PRL-8-53 that had been used contained a small amount of
the desmethyl compound as admixture, which may also have contributed
to the observed effects. However, since this compound is
considered a metabolite of the parent compound (8-53), its
presence should not detract from the findings."

what does this mean?

It means that PRL-8-53 can degrade into its metabolite desmethyl-PRL-8-53 which the authors thought might have been the main contributor to the nootropic effects of PRL-8-53. That's good. Indicates a longer half-life for the compound and its metabolite.

I think everyone would probably save a lot of time (and thereby money) by making the necessary payments to Q without much further speculation. The effect size documented, even if inaccurate, is impressive and the only way to know what the effect is, is to get this order through. To reiterate, I'd split my 4gs with someone just to split the risk of this being a worthless chemical (meaning the commitment would have to be made (in payment) before any personal trials.)

Let's just order the compound for what we all agreed on, 4g @ $80. Don't know where all this splitting 4g came from. Meh.

Yeah that's the deal. But it does not preclude the 25 members from making deals of their own, independent of Qs group-scheme. Splitting comes from individuals trying to diversify risk and letting others gamble on the compound.

I've submitted my $80. I was really concerned that I might of been late to the party but now it seems we have a lot of individuals that were all talk but can't walk?

yup, just might have to make room for the longecity users who are willing to pay for their own ticket.

I guess there won't be any risk if we can't get this compound at all. Meh.

I'll do what it takes to keep this going so we can move on to a Dihexa buy.

Dihexa + PRL-8-53 may cover the bases and become the Holy Grail NZT.

And this may be where it all started.

Hahaha, I don't know about NZT (was just a really good movie); but, fuck yeah trying to make NZT a reality would be sick.

May I ask about the claims of 21 digits sized working memory in humans. Do I understand it now rightly that it was made in relation to PRL-53-8 and got somehow referenced as PRL-53-147 in some internet blog??? So those somewhat unfounded claims of working memory enhancement were still made in relation to PRL-53-8 not PRL-53-147 because PRL-53-147 haven't been tested on humans???

Seems like that. There's also some anecdotal hearsay from Durk Pearson in "High Frontiers" (some weird post Timothy Leary hype magazine); but, have no idea what it's about.

I have really limited working memory both in terms of capacity and speed. I really hope that this compound could make some improvement in this area. I have tested myself on long term basis in many of the wm task tests and I pretty certain I know the baseline of my abilities quantitatively very well. So I should be able to tell the difference if PRL-53-8 works in this respect.

Just informing everyone that I no longer wish to be on the group buy - so whoever is next on the waiting list, now is your chance!

Sounds really awesome! It would be interesting to see if rate of progress on cognitive tests would speed up on this compound along with the potential of higher max scores.

redan, the suggestion to split doses/orders was made when it was discovered that the the 25 spots had filled up. Since my name isn't one of those 25, several individuals who made it to the list have offered to split their dose and cost with me. Honestly, I think I would prefer to do that anyways since 400 doses should be more than enough to carry me through the rest of college and graduate school.
