Still no bitcoin transactions? It can be fast and if you are able to exchange the amount for cash the same say, theres minimal risk of inflation.. I am a bit lose in bank transactions overseas, even WU.
PayItSquare looked promising too..
could you please explain how a transaction using bitcoin would work? i'm doing some research to see what the best options are and i will pay more than needed, if no other option is available, but fees that are 10-20% of the transfer through some provider (bank or WU) seem ridiculously high to me and i would like to use this as a last resort. i mean, the provision like that for no work whatsoever on their side?? damn, makes me wanna start service like this! anyway, bitcoin seems really interesting, but i wonder how practical it is and what are the options to buy and sell them (exchange for real money)

the hardest part is to find someone who will exchange in your local area, just check: https://localbitcoins.com/
then once you got your coins released you can transfer it with almost no fees (0.0005 BTC/kb ? typical transaction is 500bytes so its less <0.05% for 1BTC) to any other waller anywhere on the world. I dont want to push anyone into BTC but as an alternative to Banks (EU - US transactions) it can be considered

The moneybookers seems especially good option for me. (EDIT: It seems so that I cant send the money to USA from my EU based home country through moneybookers).

So far 13 persons have pm me.
Add 1 more.
Payment made. But according to my bank's help line it would take 37 working days to money to move through. And this cost me 24,92€ (almost 30USD).

Pool together with me; I have already done this with another member. As a Canadian (yes me too!), I am uncertain as to the best method available for me for paying you Q.
Interac e-transfers are free for Canadians so if you interac me money, I can mail Q a pooled cheque for both of us.
In fact, any and all Canadians interested in this group buy.. contact me, I can pool our money and send Q a single lump payment.
That would make things infinitely easier!

Almost exactly what I proposed
So there are 11 non US based people - more than I anticipated, I admit - but still less than 13 (not counting Q).
Some of those 11, if there are any, can send money to Q directly via Western Union.
For the rest I propose the following action plan:I think this is a easonable plan. Any comments ?
- Before any money is sent, we should here agree who (from EU) should send money to whom (from US)
- When we agree upon that, the people from US should write a check dated a week from now to Q for $160 including the money from his EU 'partner' (remember no money has been sent yet from EU to US via PayPal)
- All the checks are sent to Q (pictures or physical checks)
- When and only when Q confirms that he got all the checks, people from EU send the money via PayPal to their US parnter
- EU partners notify the forum that they have sent the money and US partners confirm that they received it
- If US partners do not receive funds from their EU partners, they cancel the check (if possible) and notify us here; Q destroys the check;
- Otherwise if and only if everything goes well and we ALL agree that everything went well Q deposits the checks to his bank account and wires the money to the lab

great idea. i'm from the Netherlands, anyone from the us who is willing to be my cash flow buddy?
Gladly, but I already sent a check to Q! this morning... If you can't find anyone else or don't have any other means to send money to Q! did it, I can send another $80 check to him for you and you would refund me via PayPal when Q! confirms that he got my second check.

EU UK to other can send money via Paypal to US participants who will cut a check for x amount. This is the best option considering fees.
WU and Bank Transfers are an option:
If you choose to Wire via bank or WU Do not for get to add $12 to the initial $80 to cover the incoming fee.
If you select WU please let me know and do not forget to select the Credit/Debit card to Bank Account option.
So far we have five spots left so PM me soon if you are interested. Persons who were in the PayPal venture will get precedence .

Hello this is important. I believe we should order from Novochemy. I wpuld like to have certainty that we recieve the conpound we are looking for. I am ok with ordering from Novochemy and only need a small amount to test an unknown compound.
If we did this we would need to order 30g so that is 30g/participants=1.2g. To order 30g would be $1280. If we cut down 25p to 20p than 1.5g per participant.
I feel safe with SunShine and you did suggest them to me why the sudden change of mind?

At this point, I'm just hoping all 25 participants can get their money to Q.. and this is still just step 1.

Switching suppliers would be unnecessarily complicating an already complicated matter; although, I am OK with switching to Novachemy for a smaller order... if need be.

Same here.
