Before this topic jumps to weird conclusions that this compound was covered up by the government or caused cancer or something like that... there was no sense to push this drug. It had little therapeutic value from what I understand. Only recently has renewed interest shown that it can be beneficial to persons with dementia and alzheimers.

It is therefore quite possible that chemicals such as PRL-8-53 and PRL-8-147 are simply not sufficiently effective at treating such medical conditions to warrant financing the exorbitant cost of bringing it / them fully to market, but do in fact significantly enhance cognitive function in healthy individuals

Take COLURACETAM for example; this was initially developed and tested by the Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation for treating ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE; however was later abandoned when clinical trials demonstrated it was not sufficiently effective in treating the disease. However, COLURACETAM most certainly has quite potent PHARMACOLOGICAL EFFECTS, including ANXIOLYSIS, ANTIDEPRESSANT and NOOTROPIC effects. In fact, Braincells Inc. are in process of carrying out clinical trials with the intention of licensing the chemical for use in treating ANXIETY DISORDERS

It's very possible we may still have room for more if any of the original 25 have backed out? We will probably have to give Q a day or 2 to figure out where we're at now.
